Thanks to the hard work and research of Christine Brim of the Center for Security Policy, along with her team, we now have an alarming report that further exposes the hidden and likely motivations behind the developers of the Ground Zero mosque.
Many of us have been trying to warn you that these Ground Zero mosque people are not who they portray themselves to be. And now, in the first article of what will be a three-part series published on Andrew Breitbart’s Big Peace website, [http://bigpeace.com/cbrim/2010/08/17/ground-zero-mosques-hidden-websites-follow-the-shariah/] Brim reveals a shadowy plan going back to 2006 (and surely before that) which involves Feisal Rauf, the front man for the proposed Ground Zero mosque, collaborating with a number of Middle Eastern Islamic Shariah law scholars to create the Shariah Index Project, the purpose of which is,
“…to benchmark Shariah compliance, to distribute Shariah propaganda, and to enforce Shariah law in America and worldwide.”
Ms. Brim begins her article with a fascinating observation that many of us may not have considered. She notes that the proposed Ground Zero mosque has 15 stories, but that number does not add up to the stated plans for the building, according to Rauf and company. She makes a list of uses for the floors according to what the developers have said would be included in the center: a mosque, a halal restaurant, art studio, swimming pool, auditorium, et cetera. Ms. Brim determines that all of these things would take up a maximum of nine floors, setting aside one floor for each item and two floors for the mosque. That leaves six floors unexplained. Ms. Brim believes she knows exactly what those floors will be–the New York headquarters of the Shariah Index Project.
She then chronicles the history of the spawning of the Shariah Index Project in which Feisal Rauf is neck-deep in involvement–in fact, he spearheads it. Ms. Brim and her team culled the information from two hidden and heavily scrubbed websites of the Cordoba Initiative’s Shariah Index Project, plus other websites. The hidden websites have been catalogued in her article which is linked above. It began with the first meeting in August of 2006 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and has built from there. Ms. Brim’s timeline-style article outlines the known attendees of the various meetings, plus the general purposes and outcomes of each meeting, including planning the Shariah Index, expanding the core group of Shariah experts, drafting the Shariah Index, and building the actual apparatus and operational system for it, not to mention their colluding with the Muslim Brotherhood’s International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT). http://iiit.org/ The Shariah Index Project group has also enlisted the help of polling experts from Gallup, Pew and Harvard.
I don’t have the space here to detail all the chilling information that’s in her piece. You should read it to get a fuller picture of the seriousness of the situation. This group’s ultimate goal is to implement Shariah law in America and around of the world. The proposed Ground Zero mosque would be doubly-devilish in that it would not only serve as a victory monument towering over the wasted World Trade Center site at Ground Zero, but it would also be a powerful force for spreading Shariah law in our country. I know I speak for millions of Americans when I say: not on our watch!
This information comes as Rauf’s wife Daisy Kahn last Thursday further dug in her heels against the American people who demand they find another location for their mosque. I have news for Mrs. Kahn; Americans of all political affiliations, races and religions are opposed to this wicked plan–not just Republicans!
We are opposed to Islamic Shariah law, and we will not willingly allow it in our country. I know the elites are working hand in hand with the Islamists to incrementally slip Shariah into our American system, whether it’s inching it into banking institutions with Shariah finance laws or getting a New Jersey court ruling that finds an Islamist innocent of raping his wife because Shariah law dictates that wives must “put out” any time their husbands demand it. That kind of vile garbage may go over in some backward Middle East countries, but it’s not going to fly here in America!
I will wrap up with the conclusion from Christine Brim’s article,
“The Ground Zero Mosque has at least 6 mystery floors. We suggest that they’ll be used by the Shariah Index Project.
The Shariah Index Project was built by at least 14 Shariah experts. We have the identities probably of 7 of them, and Rauf should reveal the other 7 right away.
The Shariah Index Project generated at least 16 documents and maybe a final book, and Rauf should release all of these–right away.
The issues at stake in the Ground Zero Mosque and the Shariah Index Project are not about Americans supporting the Constitution’s protection of religious freedom. Americans support that protection.
The issues at stake here are about Americans protecting the Constitution from Shariah-adherent groups using the protective guise of religious freedom to attack the Constitution itself–using a triumphal Ground Zero mosque as ‘the base’ for a project to institutionalize Shariah in America.”
Gee, I wish I had some good graphics skills. Here’s what I’d do: Do a 3-D cutaway view of the Cordoba House and fill in the names of each of the spaces with satirical names: “Office of Exploiting Liberal Idiots” “Islamic Physics Laboratory (with picture of guys practicing suicide bombing)”Peace and Friendship Lounge” with Christians and Jews being beheaded; etc....

Uh - if they want to spread Shariah law, they’ll do it without a stack of concrete 2 blocks from Ground Zero. This building will primarily serve one purpose: a slap in the face to all “infidels”. Betcha the “grand opening” will be September 11, pick a year.
I have had liberals argue that the Ground Zero mosque really wasn’t a war memorial to the 19 terrorists and that it was just a “community outreach program” ins spite of Muslims publicly saying exactly the opposite! It truly is arguing with idiots.
if all of this is true (which I don’t doubt) then I guess where it is built becomes secondary.
