On Tuesday, President Obama announced the appointment of this year’s “White House Fellows,” a prestigious program in which outstanding Americans are chosen to work in the White House and receive “first hand, high-level experience with the workings of the Federal government.” According to a White House Press release, one of this year’s Fellows is a young lawyer named Samar Ali:
Samar Ali is an Associate with the firm Hogan Lovells US LLP. She is responsible for counseling clients on mergers & acquisitions, cross-border transactions, Shari’a compliant transactions, project finance, and international business matters.
Left out of the press release is that she also previously worked as an intern and received training at the Islamic International Arab Bank; according to her staff bio at the Hogan Lovells law firm,
Samar’s experience includes advising a Middle Eastern university in the potential establishment of a Foreign Aid Conventional and Shari’ah Compliant Student Loan Program. … Before joining Hogan & Hartson, Samar worked as a summer associate for the firm and as a legal intern for the Islamic International Arab Bank.

Oklahoma lawmakers are supporting an amendment to the Oklahoma Constitution that would prohibit state courts from relying upon Sharia (Islamic law) or international law in deciding cases.
House Joint Resolution 1056 would place the issue before Oklahoma voters in November. This resolution, nicknamed “Save Our State,” has been proposed because of a rising concern with courts citing non-American sources as legal authority. Sharia, in particular, poses a threat to traditional American values. Honor killings and similar crimes are seeping into our nation, with justification under traditional Islamic law an increasingly common concern..
NASA Chief: Next Frontier Better Relations With Muslim World

NASA Administrator Charles Bolden said in a recent interview that his “foremost” mission as the head of America's space exploration
agency is to improve relations with the Muslim world.
Though international diplomacy would seem well outside NASA’s orbit, Bolden said in an interview with Al Jazeera that strengthening those ties was among the top tasks President Obama assigned him. He said better interaction with the Muslim world would ultimately advance space travel.

And I can recite the words to the Pabst Blue Ribbon jingle but that does not make me a beer drinker. People remember things they heard as a kid. I agree with the article that he's not a Muslim, he's a typical modern lefty moralist.
He recites the Shahada ("There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is his Messenger") to Kristof in perfect Arabic and says the evening call to prayer is one of the prettiest sounds on earth at sundown.

Anyone could see during the campaign for President that “O” was unnecessarily and disturbingly equivocating, intellectually blasé, shamelessly devious, calculating and opportunistic in ways and on issues where nothing but unalloyed candor was expected from (in fact compulsory) in OTHER candidates.
Why anyone now expects honesty, integrity and direct expression from his as President is really remarkable.
Hiding behind the pathologically ubiquitous dogma of ‘multiculturalism/tolerance’, he can/does commit the most maladroit, politically objectionable, near criminal and treasonous blunders of ANY President in our history.
The meter is running on this farce. Any nation on earth which can’t get what it wants out of America NOW…isn’t even trying!! I think they know it too.
While I don’t believe Obamuslim faces east on his prayer rug several times a day, I do believe that Islam courses through that charred heart of his and thus colors all that he sees, hears, feels, and speaks.
