I love Sarah Palin but she’ll lose on the National ticket. The Repubs have to be smarter with who they chose, even though I personally think she’s great.

Americans like candidates they've never heard of before so they can imagine the candidate is just like them. Like it or not Palin has been defined. She is definitely the king-maker but I'm not sure she can maker herself king.

"The Repubs have to be smarter with who they chose, even though I personally think she’s great."

Huh?

I personally think she's great, too. By my kind of thinking she's "great" finds her the best possible candidate to run this country for the next four years after O'Bunga. Because four years of just another run-of-the-mill, gutless, go-along-to-get-along, socialist-lite GOP hack just won't cut it any more.

Ever.

I guess mine is a sincere "I think she's great."

Know what I mean?

Not sure I agree. Presidential elections aren't really "national" elections per se, even though the MSM seems to think it is. Keep in mind there were seven states that Obama won in 08 that Bush won in 00 and 04. (NV, CO, IN, OH, VA, NC, and FL). Unless something really strange happens, there's where the Presidency will be won or lost. Can Palin win those states? I could be wrong, but I think it's certainly possible.

I think she realizes that; that’s why she dumped elective politics and moved to the rubber-chicken and publishing side.

Yeah, you really love Palin, you only want to defeat her in the primary and work to make sure that she never becomes our candidate, how do you support people that you don’t like?

I think she’s the one we have that can win. All the safe alternatives—Mitt or Tim or Huck or Mitch or John or even Newt—per usual, are the sure losers.

Got any facts to back that up or have you heard other people say that often enough that it has become fact.

John McCain said he thought Sarah got more votes than he did.

Pardon me, but it sounds like you are letting the lamestream media and the lefties define for you who Sarah Palin is instead of looking at her policies and plans and what she could to do fix the problems of this country (lowering taxes, creating jobs, growing the economy and getting us out of this Depression). To me, there are two Sarah Palins — one is the cartoon character spun through Tina Fey and the Democrat-loving media whores and the other is the real person ... the REAL Sarah Palin. The Republicans need to be smart and choose HER. If we don’t we’re going to get another McLame in 2012 (i.e. Romney). Conservatives win elections, RINOs lose them. Just look back at history and it will prove me right. If another RINO is picked, the GOP may lose again.

Liberals do not agree, which is why they are constantly, continuously, repeatedly smearing her and her family.

One thing I can say about Sarah Palin, she evokes a rage in liberals that I’ve never seen before. They loathed Reagan, they loathed W, but I would need to invent a new word to describe the depth of their hatred for Sarah Palin. It will be very difficult for her to win with all the forces of hell eagerly unified against her, but if she wins, boy will it be fun to read the posts on DU the day after the election; there absolutely will be weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth.

I disagree... and I read the same thing posted about Reagan... even gop party leaders said that he would lose and the media said catah wanted Reagan to win because he would easily beat the grade B actor. You are wrong... you have the right to your opinion... I just do not share it with you.

That's great. If you'll just agree to vote for her in November 2012, she won't have any problem winning. Yours could be one of the deciding votes.

I adore Sarah, but she will lose the election for us.
Republicans and the American people don’t offer her enough support.
The rats did too good a good painting her as an airhead.
She needs time to build her rep..maybe in ‘16.
