Railing against the majorities in virtually all of their respective homelands, delegates from 30 Latin American and Caribbean countries descended on Brazil this past week to push a gender equality initiative that turned the advancement of women into an apparent crusade for abortion and gay rights.
Born out of this meeting, known as the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbeans (ECLAC) Regional Conference on Women, was a document prepared for submission to the United Nations at its major Millennium Development Goals (MDG) assembly scheduled for next month.
Available for interviews to shed light on the proceedings, and the agenda behind them, is international relations expert and VP for Research at the Catholic Family and Human Rights Institute (C-FAM), Susan Yoshihara.
In a report released on C-FAMs website (see the link below), Yoshihara explains how the committee couches its pro-abortion agenda under euphemisms like reproductive health, and even goes on to intimidate by such means.
She writes how this document recommend(s) that states review laws that punish or denounce women who have undergone abortions. The subject of denunciation has become a legal tool used by abortion proponents to argue that abortion laws amount to cruel and inhuman treatment of women. One UN delegate (said) that his country is already considering reviewing its strict abortion law based upon pressure from UN committees on the subject of denunciation.
And now, groups like this are trying to get a head of steam going into one of the most far-reaching conferences at the UN to push a pro-abortion and pro-homosexual agenda on a grand basis.
How can they get away with it? These major UN social policies can really impact lives around the world, and about 75% of the citizens in these nations oppose abortion and homosexuality.

Welcome to the new world order.
Just look a the Left in the U.S.
No matter how much they get, they always want more.
It's warfare for the soul.
I think maybe the noble blood line’s been watered down by all the vacation traffic from the US.
I Was watching Telemundo the other day and it was clear that it was totally targeted to gay men. Because there is no way a straight guy could watch that stuff and pay any attention to the plot. ;-)
