Robert Gibbs, Obama's White House spokesman, had an interesting reaction today when he was asked point-blank about Obama's alleged use of a Connecticut social security number. We've got a clip of that, and right below that is a clip that explains the allegation (in somewhat dramatic fashion) - it's interesting that the identity theft allegations that sounded so outlandish to me when Dr. Orly and I first discussed them last year, are now being supported by people like Jerome Corsi of WorldNetDaily.

Again, you have demonstrated that you cannot engage in conversation, but can only offer snarky, cynical diatribe.
Again, offer a cogent argument...if you can.......waiting
“Delia Fant has been named the new principal at Summit High School, replacing Mike Andrus, who retired at the end of the 2009-2010 school year.
Fant, who previously was an assistant principal at Summit, was approved as principal by the Fontana Unified School District Board in June.
Fant has been with the FUSD for 19 years. She taught Spanish at Fontana A.B. Miller High School for nine years and served as an assistant principal at Sequoia Middle School for eight years and at Summit for the last two.
“I am very excited to serve FUSD and Summit High staff as their principal,” said Fant. “I hope to motivate all Summit staff to work to their fullest potential through my example of dedication, determination, and a strong work ethic. My leadership will focus on a clear vision, a structured plan, and perseverance to reach our action plan goals.”
Fant was born in Chihuahua, Mexico.
“Both of my parents were born in the United States,” said Fant, “so, I am a natural U.S. citizen even though I was born outside of the country.”
The family moved to Cucamonga when she was three and she has lived most of her life in the Upland area.
Her early ambitions were not to go into education; she was interested in becoming a hair stylist. She earned a full scholarship to Ontario Beauty College upon graduating from Upland High School and went on to be a hair stylist for 22 years.
She later returned to school and earned her B.A. in Spanish from Cal State University, San Bernardino and her M.A. in Spanish Literature and Linguistics from Cal State University, Fullerton.”

Many bloggers mischaracterize their blogs as “news.” That alone is a major problem. The worst offenders are Newsrealblog and so-called Business Insider (more like Doubleclick Popup Insider, as the owners are the developers of the popup ad and they prove it each time you visit the site). So-called Cypress Times is another one. It’s a blog, but it posts in News. It seriously dilutes FR when you are browing for real news and just getting someone’s lame rehashing of yesterday’s AP news (they rail about AP being no good, and I agree, but the bloggers just restate what AP said and expect you to appreciate their restatement because they are conservative).
As for the rest, yeah, they post in bloggers, but they add no value to FR. Bloggers are glorified Vanities, except that in a real Vanity, you have your say and folks laud or criticize it. Bloggers are either too scared to show just how lame they are, or are trolling for hits, that being more important than imparting information.
The worst are those who post their teaser five times a day, and then never comment.
So everyone in the world who has a thought, is starting a blog, and linking to FR with phony headlines as though each one is breaking news (it’s the same news, right from AP or Yahoo, restated in 20 different ways). Each thinking they are the next Drudge.
So new folks come to FR, and it appears to be nothing but blogs, blogs and more blogs. Yes, many are characterized properly, but you can’t opt out of bloggers, so you have to wade through each one to get to a real breaking story.
It’s really tiresome.
Simple solution would be to require all blogs to be characterized correctly, and maybe put the word “blog” in the headline, and allow FR readers to opt out from the bloggers section. Also, if they want to post, require a no-excerpting rule. If they have something to say, they can say it, not flog it.
No problems. Thanks for the anti-troll fire support!

Like I said above, blogs are glorified vanities. Only worse. A writer of a vanity used to have to write it here, then defend it. Good or bad, we could laud it or have fun with it. This hit and run posting of teasers is crap, and is diluting FR.
Watch out, gunner. It’s the dreaded exclamation point again.
To bad you can't opt out of other catagories also! But we all have to wade through all of them to get past them!
Here’s an example of someone who gets it right.

This 12 year FReeper really cares, and is right on the front line daily in actually making news (or being right there when it is made). Not a second hander.
And you know what? He POSTS THE WHOLE THING! Complete with source links right here on FR. No wild goose chases.
This is FReeper who cares, and is one to be admired.
The blog-pimps are self-concered second handers and attention whores.
If they cared, they would obtain useful first hand information and analysis, and then impart it. Restating someone else’s video or newsfeed and then teasing it to their own site is attention whoring.
Good suggestions.
Thanks.
Gibbs is just another dope!
!
Plenty of bloggers have started posting their entire essays without the annoying (Excerpt...) link because they see his point and the Pimpbusters' reasonable request.
We always visit the blogs of those who politely comply instead of starting a profane flame war.
Oops. Sorry I didn’t ping you. I didn’t realize that you were on the thread. You said it better than I did, too.
Hmmmm, I guess we should not post links to any news sites then, lest we be pimpimg, well, news sites?
Gunner can't even post a reasonable reply?
FWIW, I hear what you're saying.
