I plan on watching “The Wind and the Lion” tonight for the umpteenth time. Other favorites are “The King and I” and “The Ten Commandments”.

My list:
The Longest Day
The Mummy
Pride and Prejudice the 1995 version (yes I know it’s girly, but it’s also like 8 hours long, so there’s alot of watching in there)
Ocean’s 11
The Whole Thin Man Series
Anything James Bond, except the Timothy Dalton one and the ones where Roger Moore was really, really old
Apollo 13
Lord of the Rings
Errol Flynn stuff
Anything with Bogie
Anything with Cary Grant
Yes, I like lighter fare. Stuff that doesn’t ring you out. I watch a LOT of movies - we have movie nights at my house with friends every week. They grew up without movies, and it’s fun to rediscover all the classics with people who have never seen them before.
My biggest hits with neophytes:
The In-laws (the old one with Falk and Arkin)
Secondhand Lions (the best movie no one ever saw)
October Sky
Casablanca
Forbidden Planet
The ORIGINAL The LadyKillers, with Alec Guiness and Sellers

Oh, and any and all Jimmy Stewart movies
And most Katherine Hepburn movies. Especially the one with Jimmy Stewart and Cary Grant, but I can’t think of the name of it just now.

The Fugitive was on earlier. Had I the time, I'd watched it longer than just up to the train crash.
Die Hard's always fun. (The first one.)
The Lord of the Rings -- particularly the first one, when everything was new.
The Shawshank Redemption, which is IMO the best Stephen King adaptation, with only minor changes needed for the conversion.
