I like old movies. My favorite so far has been “12 o’clock high” WWII movie. Superb cast and dialogue. This movie is still shown in the Air Force and civilian companies for leadership training.

I plan on watching “The Wind and the Lion” tonight for the umpteenth time. Other favorites are “The King and I” and “The Ten Commandments”.

My Cousin Vinny My wife and I always end up watching that to the end, over and over. Also INDEPENDENCE DAY, any of the DIE HARD movies but especially I and IV, and CLIFFHANGER. We've seen these pictures so many times we can quote the dialogue back to each other.

The Fountainhead is one of the funniest movies ever made. I literally laughed until I cried the first time I saw it.

My list:
The Longest Day
The Mummy
Pride and Prejudice the 1995 version (yes I know it’s girly, but it’s also like 8 hours long, so there’s alot of watching in there)
Ocean’s 11
The Whole Thin Man Series
Anything James Bond, except the Timothy Dalton one and the ones where Roger Moore was really, really old
Apollo 13
Lord of the Rings
Errol Flynn stuff
Anything with Bogie
Anything with Cary Grant
Yes, I like lighter fare. Stuff that doesn’t ring you out. I watch a LOT of movies - we have movie nights at my house with friends every week. They grew up without movies, and it’s fun to rediscover all the classics with people who have never seen them before.
My biggest hits with neophytes:
The In-laws (the old one with Falk and Arkin)
Secondhand Lions (the best movie no one ever saw)
October Sky
Casablanca
Forbidden Planet
The ORIGINAL The LadyKillers, with Alec Guiness and Sellers
