A Fairfield man was arrested Thursday morning after buying a high powered rifle to stop an alien invasion, police said. Fairfield Police Sgt. James Perez said Dane Eisenman, 57, responded to a classified advertisement for a .30-06 rifle about a month ago. While filing out the paper for the rifle, police said, he mentioned to the seller what he would be using the weapon for. He said he was going to use the weapon to kill aliens, Perez said.

That reminds me. I need to freshen up the tiger repellent out on the deck.
Never proud of her country, damn she looks pretty damn hateful. And what’s with the teeth?
Actually one of my favorite episodes was "The Unnatural" - Duchovny's first effort at writing. The episode is fun to watch, taps into the X-Files Mythos with the Arthur Dales character, and has a lot of subtle puns and references that pay homage to baseball, the negro leagues and Roswell lore.
How does anybody know if he is right or wrong? 36,000 years ago was long before written history so there’s no way to know if there weren’t aliens that came to Earth from under the sun.
On a seriuos note, he sounds like he may need a mental evaluation. Unless he is commited there is no reason to prevent him from having a firearm. No unincarcerated citizen should be denied the rights of citizenship. If he’s too criminally dangerous to own a gun then he shouldn’t be out of prison.
Being a felon prevents you from legally owning firearms. However in today’s America, some high ranking officials think that felons and those incarcerated are the driving force of a “Green Economy”
I think id rather take my chances with “Green Aliens” then with a “Green Economy”
Or at best i can see how they are basically both the same thing. “boogie men”
I’m well aware of gun laws. Being a felon didn’t prevent you from owning firearms until 1968 and there wasn’t really a problem. Constitutionally there is no basis for denying the rights of citizenship to people who aren’t incarcerated or under court supervision.
I favor longer, harsher sentences with people’s rights restored after they have paid their debt to society. That’s how gun rights in this country were supposed to operate.
Yeah, me stating the gun law, wasn’t meant to exemplify you not knowing the laws. It was an intro to my green/alien/economy joke, that bombed. Oh well.
Sorry about that. I had just woken up.
Well, somebody has to shoot all those darn guys streaming across the border. (just kidding, Barry!)
