United States Army Second Infantry Division

Thank you 2nd Division Vet for your service to the USA! May God bless you abundantly!
You are in my prayers. God bless you and your family!
Prayers sent up for you and your family.
Times are tough, but trust in the Lord in all things.
May God Bless you and may you know His all encompassing love.
Sent him a note last night. Waiting for a reply.
Just waiting for 2ndDivisionVet to let me know where he is in Miss.
He is in Biloxi. They have a brand new Best Buy there. I am 30 minutes away. I will meet him there and get a new PC for him. 2nd DV, Please call and let the Lord work his wonders amongst us FReepers.
Prayers up for you and your wife.

Prayers up for you and your wife.
It is heartwarming just to read the responses that you are getting from this post. You will be in my prayers, and I am confident that the Lord has wonderful plans for you and your wife. I hope that the outpouring of love you are receiving provides a soothing balm for your soul. You are a beloved child of God, and He is taking care of everything you need. I join others who want very much for you to be able to continue as a faithful patriot on this forum. God bless.

Prayers to you and your miss’s.
You might considering renting a PC for now or there are places that have rebuilt PCs and laptops for cheap.
Have you heard from 2DV? I am about 140-150 miles away and have a couple of other FReepers who have given me his address. I don’t have the means to purchase a new comp. but can let him have an older used one.
Prayers your way sir, for a little break in the action, and the strength to see it through until it does!
God bless,
Tatt
You have my prays, now you’re going to get some advice to consider.
In my state, there is a Department of Vocational Rehabilitation office (DVR). You need to see if there is such a thing in your area. Considering your circumstances, they may very well buy you a NEW computer. In my state you would definatly be provided a new computer to help you stay employed. I know this based on my wife’s guidance as she works for the Washington Employment Security Office, causing her to work closely with DVR.
Additionally, the office of Employment Security (state unemployment office) will have a vet section, run by vets— for vets. They may be able to hook you up... they will at least try.
I may think of other suggestions, but at this point, I believe those are your two best bets.
If that stuff doesn’t work out for you and you’re still at a loss, leave me a PM and I will find you a computer... it may not be fancy, but it will be yours. If I have trouble scrounging one up for you, I’ll head down to our local VA and talk them out of one. If they don’t have one to give up, I’ll call in a favor from my sons father-in-law to see what he can do.. he works on IBM’s and finds it difficult to tell his daughter no.... I also think he’s afraid of me. LOL
Remember, if you can’t get over a wall, go around or blow it up... never give up, never surrender.
Good luck....
I’ll be praying for you.
Yes, indeed.
Prayers and love offered up, in Jesus Name!
Prayers for you both.
Prayers for God’s providential care and guidance to surround you and bless you with the information and help needed, 2ndDivisionVet.
There are probably people in your area who have bought new computers, and would be glad to give their extra one to you just to get rid of it.
Some people just have to have the latest new thing and perfectly good stuff gets stored in a closet, or somewhere to get it out of the way.
If there is a “Swap-Shop” program on one of your local radio stations, you might be able to kill two birds with one stone by swapping something y’all don’t want for a computer that someone else doesn’t want.
Check the classifieds in those little “shopper’s guide” type free papers in your area. They have all sorts of things listed for swap or sale, including computers.
