This makes me think that at some point Barack Obama is preparing to take the insanity plea. Take this:
Now, stopping illegal immigration must go hand in hand with reforming our creaky system of legal immigration. Weve begun to do that, by eliminating a backlog in background checks that at one point stretched back almost a year. Thats just for the background check. People can now track the status of their immigration applications by email or text message.
No kidding! Whats next? Get your background check on Twitters?
But President Obama is above the background checks. After all he himself wouldnt have passed the naturalization background check. The form N-400 includes the following questions about immigrants associations with communist organizations:
I remember very well my citizenship interview where the officer made sure I did not participate in those with my Eastern European background. Even the Komsomol the former communist youth organization raises red flags in a citizenship interview.
President Obama wrote in his book that he was seeking Marxist professors in college. Communism is the party theme of his early years. Obama would have had a hard time xplaining that at a citizenship interview. Equally hard would have been to justify his cocaine use, buying and selling. And what about pal-ing with terrorists like Ayers?

Yeah, baby. Got to get them to the voter registration tables ASAP!
If I have HOT button,...Has anyone besides me seen people line up at courthouses at 5 am, trying to get their American Passport, and have to wait 3 months? Has anyone in the USA ever tried to call the Immigration Naturalization Services, and run through their menu, Press One for English, If you are calling about a renewal press 2..and If you need a visa press 3. YOU NEVER GET TO TALK TO A REAL PERSON. Or how about the Mexicans that have to wait 3 months, pay $125 for an interview at the window that lasts exactly 4.3 seconds, and the interviewer says NEXT... Calculations say 2/3rds of those who apply in Guadalajara, Cancun and Monterrey and Mexico City are turned down. But the good ole guys who paid the UNDERGROUD, will get in FREE, and whistle with delight. It aint’ FAIR. America WAS a nation of laws. They need to take some classes from WalMart, or Apple about Customer Service, and get some of these bureaucratic tangles taken out of the system.
I don’t see any particular problem with making the legal immigration process more efficient and more effective. Clearing up a government backlog is always a good idea.
We need to make sure background checks are thorough and effective ... but thorough, effective and streamlined is preferable to thorough, effective and slow-as-molasses.

Obushma.
Redoing Bush’s “comprehensive immigration” scam.
Same tactics. Will he do Bush and insinuate Democrats that don’t accept the scam are racists and irreligious?
I agree, Barry.
Background checks on immigrants take WAY too long. Yours, for instance, is taking FOREVER!
Flood the nation with Democrats who will destroy us.
I just renewed my Passport by mail. I didn't pay for expedited service. It took less than a month.

Obambi still has not produced the papers to clear his own background check.
Birth certificate, college loan application, passports...
Renewal is quicker than trying to get a replacement after your once valid passport has expired (and must be done in person).
“Weve begun to do that, by eliminating a backlog in background checks that at one point stretched back almost a year. Thats just for the background check”
The last time UCSIS tried to do this, they LOST 30,000 applications and files....so...they just approved them anyway.
This will be another disaster.
Actually, I agree with him on this one. They do need to fix the legal immigration process to make it more efficient.
My husband has been waiting for 7 years for his green card. It’s ridiculous the backlog they’re trying to get through.
The 1997 DOJ internal review demanded by the Republican Congress revealed that the 1,000,000 granted citizenship under "Citizenship USA" included 72,000 with criminal records (according to the FBI checks) and 180,000 whose fingerprint cards were illegible or not submitted.
The number of faulty citizenship grants was certainly even higher due to Immigration's failure to address security holes in their fingerprint processing previously identified in a 1994 Inspector General Report. It included "the INS had no way to verify that the fingerprints submitted by an applicant actually belonged to that applicant since the INS was no longer taking the fingerprints itself."
American citizenship may be precious - but still a small price to pay for Clinton-Gore to buy more voters for their 1996 reelection.
Almost all countries from the terrorist-sponsors states are part of the Green Card Lottery. It doesn’t make sense of all possible bureaucracy to choose to speed-up the background checks.
Unless your a Democrat politician looking for future voters - irrespective of their background. Like Clinton-Gore in 1996 and Obama today.
Ping!
Get those illegals registered in time for November so he can CONTINUE destroying America.
