EDITOR'S NOTE: Recently, Time magazine featured a cover story critical of the past sexual abuses of children within the Catholic Church. The following open letter to the Editor of Time magazine appeals for consistency in their reporting on the sexual abuse of children and asks why the issue of Indiana University's research conducted by Alfred Kinsey has not been addressed.
An Open Letter to Time Magazine
June 2010
Regarding: Priest Sex Abuse Stories
Dear Editor:
Considering your recent stories on priest sex abuse and your "enthusiasm" for protecting minors, when can we expect a story about the pedophiles that Alfred Kinsey used in his "research" on children, and when can we find--on the front cover of your magazine--a demand for an apology from the president of Indiana University?
Since protecting children is your true objective, not attacking Catholics, their church and their Pope, we expect you will lead the charge against Indiana University with the same vigor. Failure to do so would reveal your hypocrisy.
Sincerely,
Eileen Griffin
Schaumburg, Illinois
Kinsey documented his team’s molestation of quite small children. It’s incredible that he’s not spoken of in the same breath as infamous child-rapists.
No wait, Kinsey advanced the liberal agenda, my bad. That’s why they’ve made a film celebrating his pioneering work.
Kevin Jennings, Obama’s wanking czar, is Kinsey’s spiritual successor.
