U.S.-Mexican border security continues to deteriorate, officials say

[F]or U.S. agents working the border, the deaths illustrate the stark reality of a violent situation that threatens to spin out of control.

"Enough is enough," said T.J. Bonner, president of the National Border Patrol Council, which represents U.S. agents.

"The Mexican government demanding a full investigation and pretending they have no control or responsibility over what happened is unbelievable," Bonner said. "They openly encourage people to cross. Nobody shows up to stop the rock throwers, smugglers on their side. It's a terrible thing that they are allowing criminals to gather on their side of the border to assault our agents."

I like the quote from a Homeland Security Official who asks, "Do you think U.S. Border Patrol agents would allow American teenagers to throw rocks at Mexican police or military from our side of the border into Mexico?"

The left’s dangerous dance with multiculturalism will eventually kill us all.

We are approaching boil-over here. We are going to have race riots in our streets soon, IMO. We need to send our military to guard the border, with considerable leniency on when they can fire, and we need to BUILD WALLS. We’ll need armed soldiers to protect the builders.

There has been a segment of the U. S. populace who for the last fifteen years have been predicting the problems we would face ever step of the way, if we didn’t get this immigration situation under control.

At every step of the way, they have been right.

We have a low intensity war going on with Mexico right now, and it’s going to get steadily worse until the United States say, “Enough!”

We’re going to have open exchanges of gunfire soon. And yet, this administration and those that preceded it, treated this situation like a lark, as if it wasn’t a problem at all.

It is a problem. It is eating our nation alive.

When are the pricks in Washington going to realize, this is NOT a healthy situation? It is not advisable to continue to let our nation be attacked like this.

I think anyone who thinks the Border Patrol should not be able to use deadly force on rock throwers needs to throw rocks at Mexican Federales across the border and see how that works out for them. I am so tired of Mexico acting like we are being so unfair to their citizens that commit border crimes of all sorts.

A while back I got a good chuckle because someone online proposed that Americans should go to Mexico and protest like their citizens do here. That would show everyone a good contrast of how the two countries handle things but count me out on going to Mexico and I am sure not protesting there, am sure you would either be shot down in the street or rot in a Mexican prison.

Most of that segment lives on the border- but why listen to those of us that live here and know what is going on? Even here on FR posting about the border can get you called a liar or racist- not so much now but just a few years back we were barely allowed to post anything about the border there was such a backlash of people that didn't want to know what was going on.
