There has been a segment of the U. S. populace who for the last fifteen years have been predicting the problems we would face ever step of the way, if we didn’t get this immigration situation under control.

Most of that segment lives on the border- but why listen to those of us that live here and know what is going on? Even here on FR posting about the border can get you called a liar or racist- not so much now but just a few years back we were barely allowed to post anything about the border there was such a backlash of people that didn't want to know what was going on.

I know Tammy8. The folks back East and up North just laughed.

Now their schools are gorging and their emergency rooms full.

All of a sudden, this is serious. It was always serious.

Look, we have disruptors on various topics. I think you can take that to the bank.

Other well meaning but clueless people didn’t get it too.
