He has every right to say what he wants, but why did Paul McCartney feel the need to announce -- at a ceremony where he received the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Song -- he was happy Bush was out of the White House? You, Sir Paul, demonstrated he can have zero class at times.

Actually, I was listening to FOX Radio News at 2:00 AM this morning, and the last “news” blurb was Paul McCartney at The White House, saying, “For the last 8 years, we had a president who didn’t know what a library was,” quipped Sir Paul the jackass.
I guess it didn’t occur to Paul that tens of millions of conservatives have purchased his music over the years. Or, more likely, he just doesn’t care.
You’re a foreigner, Paul. Don’t insult my countrymen while you’re in MY country. I don’t fly to London and then start publicly insulting your queen.
Have to strongly disagree. Brilliant band, fabulous songs...and killer vocals. They were ahead of their time in many ways. Paul may be a dick (as was John), but that doesn’t in the least diminish their accomplishments as a band.
Yep, that’s why I said earlier today something to the effect that Paul got a lot of music brain cells, but very few political brain cells.

Paul is a liberal, they are what they are, and like Obama, he is a legend in his own mind.
