Well, Hallelujah

Artur Davis got THUMPED in the Dhimmicrat primary in Alabama for governor.

Davis is (which soon will be "was") my congresscritter, and no one can be happier to see him out of office than me.

Of course, his likely replacement, Terri Sewell, is likely to be no better, but WTH?

Davis is OUT>

Well, I may not be as happy as you are, but I am very happy too. I was more concerned about that race than the R primary.

Isn't this the one CNN (or was it the New York Times) was promoting as the potential first black Alabama governor? If I were a candidate this year, I would not want anyone puffing me as the next Obama.

My congresscritter is out too! Parker Griffith was upset by Mo Brooks. :) Now if we can just straighten out the Republicans for Governor. Nailbiter.

Several interesting things transpired yesterday. Fob James’s little boy came in third (last I saw), Mo Brooks won over Parker Griffith (although I wanted Les Parker) and Peterson is out as AGI. HA!

Oh, I forgot to add that on WSFA last night I heard a RAT nominee proclaim that the pubbies were going to win the governorship in November and that he could work will with whomever is the nominee. The RAT threw their nominee under that bus.

This is the one.

He was in a hard place. I could just cry for him :). To get elected Gov of Alabama, he had to run to the right. He knew this, and voted against the health-care bill.

But by doing so he severely alienated the black leadership core of his black base.

I was not impressed with his commercial. Much of the imagery had nothing whatsoever with his actual responsibilities. Other than that, I really have no knowledge of his abilities.
