In the aftermath of a major incident involving a camouflaged Turkish ship headed for an Israeli blockade in Gaza waters, a purge of Jews has begun in Europe as the outrage grows among pro-Jihadist groups that dominate many governments in the EU.

Astute Blogger reports,
It is being reported that in their bloodthirsty search for vengeance after the interception of the "aid flotilla" to Hamastan, any Jew is fair game in the predominantly Islamic neighborhoods of Copenhagen.
Observant Jews are advised to keep a low profile and not go in public with a traditional head-covering.
The situation is getting dangerous...

I think the purge has not yet begun, contrary to what is stated in the title, but I fear that little would be needed to ‘justify’ to jihadis and other traditional enemies of Judaism to start one.
Maybe the liberal/progressive Jews will start to get a clue.
What idiot penned the “purge” part of the title?
Propaganda has no place here, nor does crying Wolf when there is no wolf (yet).
Is it time yet for obstinately leftist Jews, who never met an anti-Israel cause they didn’t embrace, to finally realize that the murderous Jihadists don’t care what their politics are? In the eyes of crazed Islamists, they’re all just Jews.
This illustrates the effects of the Islamic influence that is gaining a foothold in Europe. The ease at distorting the truth and having it take the place of truth shows the disturbing fall from intellectual distinction that socialism has taken Europe. The social decadence that rules Europe will reach the tipping point as the socialist Utopian dreams turn into the nightmare that history so often repeats.
Something to think about: Did the socialist direction that Europe took create forces to offset it’s costs? Were such forces the demand for cheap labor from immigrant classes; many of which were Islamic in culture? Does one see parallels to what is happening in the United States?
This won't happen.
I've been to Bar Mitzvas at conservative and liberal synagogues. The liberal synagogue might as well have been a Unitarian church - Israel takes second place to so-called social justice.
That title is misleading...and I’m not blaming you for it...the author wrote it.

In reading this, I would have thought this was in pre-WWII Germany. Antisemitism on the rise with the rise of Islamofacsism.
Do you live in Europe? I do. Jews are not exactly welcome here and have not been for some time. While there is token talk of Israeli support, and a lot of Christian friends here actually support Israel by taveling there for vacation, it is also an unspoken that Israel must be condemned for her very existence and nobody is willing to even hear that the percentage of Jews in Palestine in 1948 was about 3-1 compared to muslims. You cannot talk about the Jews without hearing all kinds of false accusations used against them prior to the 2nd WW being stated again as if nothing happened. Old lies die a slow death here. The lies still permeate the culture. It (the thinking and reasoning) seems very much like pre-WWII here at times. That increases as pro-Nazism is growing. While it might not be to the point of forcing people onto boats or cattle cars yet, the underlying feeling is sympathetic to it.
There is NO way that this violent antisemitism can be said to have, "BEGINS."
There have been violent sadistic attacks against Jews and desecration of Jewish cemeteries in many European countries all through the 20th Century and started escalating again in the late 1980s.
Europe is profoundly antisemitic.
Speaking as a Christian who loves and respects the Jewish people I feel (and am) compelled to defend them in spite of the fact that some don't understand or actually resent it. Comes with the territory.
And you are profoundly correct.
I have heard much the same from friends who lived there. Especially from the French Jews who move away. There are little communities of formerly European Jews who leave Europe to come to America or go to Israel.
Some things never change.

I think that the climate will soon emerge where Jews will again be welcome in Poland.
At least the late President Kaczynski made many efforts towards reconciling Poles and Jews. And Poland has been Israel’s strongest defender in Europe as of late.
There has been a growing movement in Poland recently to rediscover Poland’s past Jewish heritage. A huge museum is soon to open in Warsaw commemorating the history of Polish Jews.
And of course the lack of Muslims in Poland helps too.
There will always be some anti-semitic knuckleheads to be sure. But I believe one day, Jewish culture will once again flourish in Poland.
