I wouldn’t care if the NFL expanded unionization except for the fact that they are welfare queens. I, as a taxpayer, am sick of seeing my tax money pay for new stadiums.

Not putting up any capital. Not making the pay roll. Gets handsomely paid.

Total control over the business seems a sensible demand.

Major League Sports franchises have it made. The locals already pay for the stadiums with tax dollars and bond issues.

I stopped being a real fan years ago when both football and baseball had their strikes. They did not think about the fans then only their pocketbook.

The money paid sports figures is obscene. That is why unions want in.

If the sports industry took a pay cut and plowed the excessive salaries into healthcare and retirement for the players they would not need too worry.

But MONEY is the only thought and for my money (which they get so very infrequently it is for all instant purposes non-existent) they have bought theirown problem.

If unions get in the anti-trust exemption given the leagues should be repealed by Congress.
