I have been following the GOP Senate primary race for some time. I had studied the candidates and after awhile I came to the conclusion that I wanted to support Chuck DeVore in that race. I followed his campaign, saw him give a speech last month, and even gave him some of my paycheck.
My opinion changed today after Sarah Palin gave her endorsement to DeVores challenger, Carly Fiorina. It wasnt Governor Palins endorsement that got me to change my mind about him, it was his reaction to the endorsement that served as a big red flag warning to this mans leadership capabilities. Plain and simple, Chuck DeVore is no statesmen. The statement he allowed to be released by his campaign was immature and derogatory. It said:
This grassroots movement is actually a grassroots movement, said DeVore spokesperson Joshua Trevino. Carly Fiorina thinks she can find the sheepdog to corral the sheep. Chuck DeVore knows theyre not sheep at all. Theyre Americans. And theyll make their own decisions.

Honestly, that has to come from DeVore himself, not anyone else and I think it's awfully convenient for people to blame someone else for a candidate's short comings. As I said in my last post, being the most conservative candidate isn't enough. You have to inspire people...lots of them.
I don’t get how any decent human being could support Tom Campbell.
Post my history of posting on homosexual, guiliani and romney threads...go ahead.
Once, years ago somebody posted that Guiliani marched with NAMBLA in a parade. It was a lie and I called it a lie. According to ansel12 that means I endorse all things homosexual.
Once, years ago, I agreed with a post that stated that Romney was dealing with a democrat-loaded legislature in Massachussets. To ansel12 that makes me a die-hard romneybot.
See, the problem with ansel12 is that he thinks that all he has to do is besmirch a poster with hyperbole and outright lies instead of any rational rhetoric. He is notorious for attempted character assassination.
Sorry you got pulled down to his gutter.
See post 44, you already know your history.
You keep things close to the vest, you attack but almost never defend except obliquely, cagey, and troll like, that is the style that you display as you so relentlessly work the Palin threads.
People can look at this thread for example and see how you handle candidates that you like versus a conservative like Palin.

it doesn't mean he's not so good... you said, "if you are so good why such a small amount of support?" Obama had a great amount of support... he's not so good... so i'm saying, small amount of support does not equal a candidate who is not so good... big amount of support does not equal a candidate who is so good... especially here in California... Tom McClintock is an excellent candidate with excellent beliefs and ideas... not enough support because we have too many who want to support the RINO because... well, it's our best chance at getting a Republican in... and that is how we got Arnold... my two cents, anyway...
Yep I know my history and I know that you are a liar.
Sorry, but your posting history speaks for itself, although incredibly vague except when you are attacking Palin.
I know you realize I don’t support Tom. I know him and he is a nice guy, his policies are wrong. Funny thing is he didn’t start out that way.
Tom has the morality of a sleazy ally cat liberal.
Look at his beliefs in regards to moral issues.
Like I said he didn’t start out that way.
This article was written for you.
You put the lies out there....prove them.
Had you read the article, you would have seen that Devore did not and does not have the necessary support to defeat Boxer.
See post 45.

Yeah, I described Romney as having CEO experience in direct contrast to Obama. And I said he was dealing with a democrat legislature in MA. So what? Both statements are absolutely true. Please explain how that makes me a romneybot.
Oh, you also said that I have a history of posting on homosexual threads...can't prove thst, can you?
Nope, you're just a liar.
In keeping with my description of how you work, here is another thread.
You keep things close to the vest, you attack but almost never defend except obliquely, cagey, and troll like, that is the style that you display as you so relentlessly work the Palin threads.
People can look at this thread for example and see how you handle candidates that you like versus a conservative like Palin.

Actually I didn’t say that you have a “history of posting on homosexual threads” as though you favor them or something, nice effort to twist it that way though.
What I said was.
“My guess is that you are a closet Tom Campbell supporter, judging by your posts on homosexual, Giuliani, and Romney threads.”
“Seriously — how is that immature? How is that derogatory? Am I stupid? I just don’t see what the fuss is all about. “
Someone criticized Palin and those with all their eggs in the Palin basket, hate it.
Nobody has all their eggs in someone’s basket, that is a meaningless thing to say.
What isn’t meaningless is to point out that while supporting a candidate is harmless, trying to destroy a candidate is not.
There is a reason that we relentlessly attack Mitt Romney here, and that we do all of our hostile research on the guy.
We want to hurt him and hurt his appeal, and do what we can to make him damaged goods, and do what we can to get the negative word out on him.
We are trying to take out Mitt Romney from consideration in 2012, and to destroy his effectiveness as a leader for his cause and his anti-conservative portion of the GOP, even when he is not running for office.
We do not desire that for Governor Palin.
