Former Hazelton Mayor Lou Barletta (PA-11), known for his principled stance on illegal immigration, is vying to defeat incumbent Paul Kanjorki. Retired Marine Col. Frank Ryan (PA-17) seeks to unseat Tim Holden. Former Air Force Lieutenant and current Philadelphia firefighter Brian Haughton (PA-13) hopes to send health care bill floor manager Allyson Schwartz off to write her memoir.
