A grim report circulating in the Kremlin today written by Russia’s Northern Fleet is reporting that the United States has ordered a complete media blackout over North Korea’s torpedoing of the giant Deepwater Horizon oil platform owned by the World’s largest offshore drilling contractor Transocean that was built and financed by South Korea’s Hyundai Heavy Industries Co. Ltd., that has caused great loss of life, untold billions in economic damage to the South Korean economy, and an environmental catastrophe to the United States.

But he's not... He's still coming up with hoax after hoax... Most likely using the "Sorcha Faal" moniker because his name has been tied to hoax's, plagiarism and other unsavory undertakings. Why feed David Booth's need to yank on the collective internet user's chain? Why do people drink the Kool-aid and hang on to a particular story's veracity? Is it because it reflects their personal world view, or beliefs? I'm not sure... But I am sure that every time I see a Sorcha Faal article referenced the possibility of "Deny Ignorance" has been greatly reduced regarding that particular topic.

From the news reports it was the well head that blew out and it’s down like 5,000 feet and the explosion was up on the rig part so ...? Here in Washington we’ve had two explosions at a refinery plant in Anacortes over the years ...

Thanks for the prompt reply. This all seems too fishy for me, in light of other things. I don’t believe in coincidences. But I have no idea whether this was man caused or not, but I’m willing to defer in judgement to others more knowledgeable. My guts still says this, and the other overturned platform stink.

I didn’t go to the site, because of the virus warnings, but I don’t believe for a second it would be a nuke. THAT would be very easy to verify. So we definitely agree there.

There are SEVERAL other very large structures in the Gulf, all built by South Korean heavy industry. I won't name them, but North Korean folks bent on sabotage would know where they are.

In my opinion, if the North Koreans had gone to the trouble to sneak past the US Navy into the Gulf of Mexico to attack South Korean-built structures, they would have got their money's worth, and hit several of these structures simultaneously.

Actually the plan they have right now is to drill a pressure relief well which will take about 3 months from what I understand. This would be more in line with what the dems want, three months of oil leaking into the gulf, what a chance to end any drilling in the states at all for the next 100 years!

My understanding is that a gas bubble released from a mile depth expands with tremendous force as it ascends causing a massive explosion from mere decompression causing it to expand so fast.

That appears to be the working assumption. I believe I read that from the AP reports - framed in the context of the speculation of one of the survivors.

Here on the Pacific side of the ocean, at Beale AFB near Marysville, CA, we have a submarine monitoring system called PAV-PAWS. I know it is capable of monitoring subs in the Pacific - whether it could have picked up on a NK sub would be an interesting question. I think the idea that a NK sub could have made that trip undetected is pretty unlikely - but they said the same thing about the Japanese Imperial navy reaching Hawaii undetected in 1941.

I work in the oil and gas industry and having talked with a low level Transocean engineer. Their best guess right now is that they hit a gas pocket and the BOP (blow out preventor) did not contain the blast as it is designed to. This could be connected with the fact that allegedly Halliburton was recently at the rig re-casing the hole and there may having problems with their work as this is often the cause of these types of blow outs (keeping in mind they are VERY rare). I know it is tempting to look for a conspiracy here but I really doubt that there is one.

And I don’t think it was nuclear even if it was not an accident. That is too farfetched and easy to confirm or deny via a thousand different ways.

No one has said it was a nuclear explosion, the rumor going around it that they could use a nuke bomb to seal the leak, not that a nuke explosion caused the leak.

The story didn’t say that the bombing was caused by a nuke. It said a torpedo from a North Korean ship. They said to seal it off a small thermonuclear device could be used.
