Even if you don't like Glenn Beck, you must watch these videos. This story blew my mind. I can't believe this isn't the headlines on every news channel.
We're screwed if folks don't get mad as hell about this story. Are we American's so blind or are we all feeling hopeless to do anything. Click link to view videos.

In a sane world it would be a huge story.

Even if you don't like Ike, we need to see that he is running the Atlantic Theater with great skill...
Even if you don't like Edison, it appears his electric light will be useful in the future...
I have no understanding of the multitude on FR who bash Beck on these threads, so much so that you are forced to begin one with your opening caveat.
What TV show in American history has furnished the public with such a steady stream of vital information as Beck has, at least since August when I discovered him?
Constitutionalists in our country, who I presume are the majority here on FR, engage in these petty potshots while Rome burns. Incredible.

Don`t get me wrong, I love Glenn, he`s doing the work that no other conservative pundit will do, Barr None!(including my second favorite, Rush) However, he is simply much too theatrical. He needs to be more professional! I know, he doesn`t consider himself a professional reporter, I watch and listen to him as often as I can, but who else is doing the work he is doing? Bite the proverbial bullet and straighten up into the exceptional investigative reporter he has already demonstrated he can be, for our beloved Nation, for our precious freedom, for God`s sake get serious, do it professionally.

The problem is he gets too sappy, playful or emotional. It doesn`t convey a professional image, which gives his detractors the opening to attack his overall credibility. The left is expert at the politics of personal destruction, why give them any ammo?
I think Glenn Beck is evidence that the spirit and love of freedom in an honest and honorable media personality has not gone the way of the Dodo Bird. God bless Glenn Beck, he is a real patriot!

Obama Ties To Multi Trillion Dollar Carbon Trading Scams, Goldman Sachs, The Joyce Foundation I've been saying there are only two excuses for continuing to pursue this carbon-trading/global warming hoax. Either you are:
1. In on the scam or...
2. You're too stupid to breathe.
Now, we know what Obama's excuse is. What's Lindsay Graham's?

I get your point, but I think Glenn’s theatricality and humor allows him to get closer to the mark with his accusations. He can plant seeds, insinuate, and stay just this side of being yanked off the air or being “disappeared”. This week, many times, with humor, he suggested that if something bad happens to him, connect the dots to the people he’s been exposing on his show. He’s not kidding. He’s been threatened and he’s worried for his family.
Meanwhile, the facts keep coming, which is the most important thing.

The problems with Beck are that his style is a bit over the top, and that he sometimes shoots from the hip and get things wrong, both of which make him an easy target for the left, and dilute his effectiveness.
He does indeed bring out things that no one else in mass media gets in front of the public—popularizing Jonah Goldberg’s historical work, and the story at the center of this thread being the most important examples I can think of—and we can all be grateful to him for that, but we don’t have to like him, particularly when his style or an inaccuracy blunts the benefit of his work.

Thank you. I missed this show.

Oh,I can imagine how he`s been threatened, by any number of the leftists he`s exposed. Those creeps are the real, behind the scenes, low life, scumbags that are pulling the puppet`s strings. And I agree that a little theater, from time to time, is not bad but I`m simply saying there have to be some limits.

do it professionally If Glenn Beck did what he is doing now but did it professionally, he likely wouldn't be around much longer.

In a sane world it would be a huge story Imagine if there had been an Internet and a Glenn Beck in 1913 to explain the inception of the proposed Federal Reserve Bank.

He does what he does. Its a package deal. Either you buy the package or you don’t. It’s his own signature thing.
The change in the media that was a result of left wing bias and dullness is giving rise to a variety of responses.
Let a thousand flowers bloom.

If Glenn Beck did what he is doing now but did it professionally, he likely wouldn't be around much longer. Exactly. He also wouldn't have a fraction of the audience he now has now. It is precisely because no one else will touch this kind of material that he needs to get it to the widest possible audience in one shot.
That requires his showboating and histrionics because that is the nature of viewing audiences. As he points out himself; if he presented the information that he does in a totally stone-cold sober manner it would be like sitting through a physics lecture.
As for doing this kind of expose in 1913; he would have disappeared years before he got this far.
