"According to the family, Obama's father travelled to America to study at the University of Hawaii in 1959.
While there, he worked for an oil company and married his second wife, a white woman, named Anna Toot, and their union produced Barack Obama Jr.
Obama's book says Obama Snr left his family in Hawaii after winning a scholarship to study in Harvard when his son was two years old.
The marriage later broke up after Anna's father opposed it, according to Mama Sarah.
"Anna's father was furious about the marriage and threatened to have Obama Snr expelled from the university. Our son sent us letters, pleading that we intervene to save the marriage," remembers Sarah."

Sounds to me that it’s this - As has already been mentioned, “Toot” was the grandmother’s nickname. So Anna Toot would be her daughter - Stanley Ann.

However, Canada Free Press had an article about a newsie that said they were threatened to keep silent. Even they haven't revealed who it is. I believe that the press that doesn't worship Bam is afraid.

I remember that CFP story about the threats but frankly..if that is true...it is time for somebody to be a hero before it’s too late. If not now..then when? When would it ever be ‘safe’ to tell? Our friggin country is at stake! I am just frustrated. If I knew the truth..I sure as hell would tell it to the whole world!
Early attempts to track him included his mother assuming the name “Toot” (maiden last name). Toot was the last name of an ancestor (aunt I think) of Stanley Dunham.
Nothing new in this possible connection.
This is serious and possible damaging people. Why aren’t any of you taking this serious? Spread this to the masses.
The publication date of this article is 2004. The little game was probably prompted by his election as a US Senator, got a little media attention from smaller outlets way back then, and has since wafted into oblivion where it belongs.
The kooky “Here’s evidence that Obama wasn’t born in the US” stories are getting to be like Elvis sightings. Inane and pointless, and a distraction from serious matters like limiting the damage from legislation he’s pushing, and lining up an ELECTABLE Republican candidate to get him out of office in 2012.
I’m all in favor of tightening up the legal standards for POTUS candidates proving they meet the Constitutional requirements for the job, but any tightened standards will apply to future POTUSes, not this one.
I understand but people die or disappear after telling the truth. They may have family, children......I’d like someone to spill the beans.

Obama Senior arrived in the US in what year we do not know, he wrote to his family in Kenya and told them he was working for an oil company and had married a woman named ANNA TOUT, when the letter arrived, someone who could read in the village, read the letter out to the family, and the name TOUT became TOOT...it’s phonetic. There was no connection between the Dunhams and the name TOUT or TOOT. But the contents of the letters that Obama Senior wrote home to Kenya, over time, became common knowledge in the village. So that when Kezia said, ‘he married ANNA TOOT’ she was simply repeating what everyone knew...
Came time to write the mythology. ANNA and TOOT had to be woven into the narrative. Stanley Ann, who was NEVER known as anything BUT Stanley Ann, or the nickname Stanney, as attested by several of her Mercer Island classmates...was given the name ANN or ANNA, and Madelyn was given the nickname TOOT, ‘because’ isn’t TUT an abbreviation of grandmother in Hawaiian?

ANNA TOUT might have been the woman O Senior married in the US, if he married anybody...but IMO he never married Stanley Ann Dunham. He arrived in Hawaii in 1959 from goodness knows where, and it seems Stanley Ann Dunham was at that time in Chicago.
I’m in favor of booting the corrupt marxist thug out of office by almost any means possible(short of violence). If that way is exposing his ineligibility and secrets..so be it. We can walk and chew gum at the same time here you know.
