A just-enacted Arizona law aimed at cracking down on illegal immigration inspired a sharp response from President Barack Obama. The law empowers local law enforcement officers to question any person who they think may be an illegal immigrant in the United States.
The President dismissed arguments that the Arizona law is needed because the federal government isnt willing or able to enforce federal immigration laws. The determination of who should or shouldnt be in this country is not one for the states to make, the President said. This is a federal prerogative. Even if the states think we arent doing our job they have no right to step in.
This type of action runs counter to the immigration reform I am seeking to promote, Obama continued. It contradicts our nations pledge to welcome the poor and huddled masses yearning to eat free. I cant allow it.

P!ss on Obama. If the Federal Gov’t did it’s job, it wouldn’t have come down to this. It is the Federal gov’t that has been delinquent and negligent in its duty to protect the states.
REMEMBER, folks...this is SATIRE!
Well, as Pete Stark said, it’s a waste of urine.
It’s about time to move the 10th Amendment front and center, that’s the best way to start testing whether a return to the principles put forth by the Founders is possible, or not
One thing for sure - we can sure see why they feared a strong federal government.
The Missus and I are putting an offer on a Phoenix property tomorrow. Leaving California and never looking back just gets better and better.
Yup.
And isn’t it the duty of the President to protect the citizens of THIS country, not Mexico?
Perhaps he “allowed” the deaths of innocent Americans.

Better question:
Will Obama be able to visit AZ?
Hear he has trouble producing his Birth Certificate.
Hang it up, BrakJack- The New York State Troopers routinely pull over illegal alien drivers on the Northway and promptly hand them over to ICE.
State Enforcement precedent rules over Federal neglect of the law. States` Rights rules over Federal hypocrisy of its own laws it makes.
Well, I’m embarrassed, but only partly so: he almost said those same words on the day the legislation was signed.
I actually thought this was real. He’s probably saying this to his staff.
It’s REALLY GOOD Satire because it is soooo believable....

So just to be clear... it's constitutional to penalize someone for not showing proof of health insurance but we can't request proof of citizenship?
Now, that's funny.
it’s about time someone started shoving stuff down his throat like he is only too happy to do to the country....
It contradicts our nations pledge to welcome the poor and huddled masses yearning to eat free...” EAT FREE? Did Zero actually say EAT FREE? Hell, what about the poor US citizens yearning to eat free... forget the “Poor” part, what about any US citizen yearning to eat free... oh ya, we’re supposed to pay for the masses yearning to eat free, I forgot... soooo, hi ho, hi ho, its off to work I go, to feed the masses, wipe their a_ _ es, hi ho, hi ho... no, not that kind of ho...
