Why does World Net Daily continue to push their stories about the possibility of whether Obama is constitutionally eligible to serve?
At first it was compelling, quite intriguing to read the stories that they dug up on the mysterious background of the 44th President of the United States. However, at this point it’s futile and they must be doing it simply for website traffic. It does not matter, the issue will go nowhere. There is no possible way, even if their assumptions are true, that the allegations will amount to anything. They continued their onslaught of stories on the matter the other day with a piece entitled "Kenyan official: Obama born here". There complete archive of articles on the issue can be viewed HERE.
I believe WND to be a quality and informative website putting forth stories that are relevant and newsworthy. However, their obsession with the birther issue has left them to be openly mocked. It discredits them as a news outlet, and continues to only damage the reputation of what is a legitimate news outlet. My advice to Joseph Farah and the organizers of the site is to drop the issue. Quit printing material concerned with whether he is “constitutionally eligible to serve”. I understand that these are serious charges and that if these allegations are true it is a travesty that Obama was allowed to avoid the regulations which are required to the hold the highest office in the land. But the issue is of no consequence at this point. Obama is the President and it must be respected that he is.
WND should focus its resources on exposing the President’s policies. They should focus their attention on his radical agenda, his dismantling of our republic and his goals of dramatically shifting the composition of our great...

WND continues to carry stories on this issue because it is a serious Constitutional issue. You should be applauding the fact that they are the only news source with enough common sense to realize that.

The first fundamental qualification of his presidency has never been answered.
That's why.
There is no such thing as a federal election.
Presidential elections are held by states.
States get to decide who gets on their ballot and what the requirements are.
Several states have already added requirements about birth certificates for candidates.
He won't get on the ballots in those states, and it won't take too many states doing so to make his election chances slim-to-none.
Because liberals do not read the u.s. constitution on presidential qualifications which are only two. Being a natural born and at least 35 years old. Obama does not qualify as natural born because his father was not a u.s. citizen at obama’s birth. Plain and simple. Liberals believe being born is being natural born.
Because that is exactly what the Progressives want us to do...give up.
The fact there has been so much effort into discrediting and diverting from the truth in itself proves there is a smoking gun here.
To stop go after Obama on any issue is surrender and that is exactly what Pelosi, Reid, Obama, et al are counting on...that we will surrender.

The real question that should be asked is not why WND continues to report on this issue but instead why are there some who are ignorant enough to claim that this story doesn’t matter? It is a Constitutional issue and matters very much.
Well, that's a hollow argument to say the least. If a person lies on his resume, but has been working on the job for one or two years and the lie is discovered, he must keep the job just because he has been doing it?
No, the issue is of the gravest consequence: If it is discovered that Obama is not eligible to be President, then everything he's done, everything he's approved will be in challenge.
It will set off enormous Constitutional crises!
If he's guilty of fraud, he must be impeached and removed from office. The sooner the better.

WND believes what they are saying, and many, many of us agree with them. That being the case, the author’s case here is “true or not, gee golly it’s unpopular so gosh stop it so they won’t keep saying mean things about us and all.”
