Bart Stupak Goes "POOF"
TheCypressTimes.com ^ | 04/13/2010 | Day Gardner

Posted on 04/13/2010 2:03:57 PM PDT by Patriot1259

Many Americans put so much trust in Rep. Bart Stupak and the other Democrats who stood with him when they promised that they would stand firm--no matter what--to insure there would be NO taxpayer funded abortion.

Mr. Stupak even tried to sell us on the ever so precious "executive order." We Americans may be temporarily blinded by the little flashes of light in Washington, DC, but we are not stupid. We all know an executive order is practically worthless.

Stupak's vote--a switch from NO to YES is unfortunately proof that he was and is without backbone. At one time, I saw him as a steadfast warrior who stood on principles of everything just and righteous--but in an instant with a 'yes' vote, he is demolished in my mind--becoming nothing but a cloud of dust. "Poof!" Rep. Bart Stupak...just another member of Congress who promised so much, yet delivered so little and in fact, delivered nothing.

How do people like Stupak go to sleep at night? I honestly do not get it.

Stupak had a price. Sold his soul for a few bucks for some rural airstrips in Northern Michigan.

Now that he's leaving, I suppose Obama can rip-up that EO he signed for political theater.

Way to go Stupak, you filthy POS.

"We all know an executive order is practically worthless."

If it isn't somebody should be quickly coming up with violations of the Hyde amendment. But suppose it isn't worthless where does that leave Stupak?

They know they are finished. So they will step back. That way a fresh new face comes in which the Democrats can reinvent or redefine in a way that can get popular support by the gullible masses. If they try to run with names like Stupack they will for sure get crushed. This way they minimize the damage because they get a new name, a new face, and they try to position this new face in a way that is palatable to an America that is somewhat center right.

You better believe this is choreographed and planned out!

What you will see is that some of these guys that step back and play ball mysteriously get jobs as advisers or elsewhere. They will be compensated and rewarded for playing ball. Remember general Shinseki some years past and his Bush condemning testimonies, his Rumsfeld statements, his near doom and gloom talk that was in step with what a certain party was saying? He's now the head of the VA! Coincidence? If you believe in the tooth fairy.

With only one exception in the near past (Zell Miller - retired democrat), there is NO SUCH THING as a moderate or pro-life democrat in the US Congress. Everyone of them are left wing political hacks who are Party first, Americans last.

Fox News and friends should give as much onair attention to his finking out as it did to his empty rhetoric claiming he’d not vote for the so-called health bill.

Think about all these rotten DemoRats now running from their positions. If they truly believed in their cause of liberalism one would think they would hold the confidence of their convictions. Their foundations are built on shifting sands.

May his retirement home be surrounded by party enthusiasts. You know, the drink-till-you-puke-and-blast-heavy-metal-music-all-night-party enthusiasts.

And obese, hirsute ecdysiasts.
