We like Ted Nugent. Besides being an incredible guitarist, entertainer, sportsman, and conservationist, he is a true patriot. Like most Americans, Ted loves this country and is deeply angered by what is going on, and he aint pulling any punches!
Appearing on Your World With Neil Cavuto, Ted discusses the communists who have wrested power from the people and usurped the Constitution as part of their ongoing coup détat against the American people and the Republic.

Long live The Nuge!
B. Hussein would bow to Islamists...
Nuge would use his bow on them...

Vote the PIGS OUT!
Put some photos of Obey, Rangle, Grayson and the like up there with that and you have yourself a winning campaign.
Anyone from the RNC listening?
Probably not.
I swear I would vote for Ted Nugent for president. He would be a vast improvement over who will probably run in 2012.
He’s an atheist and would bring his own unique baggage to the office. But I’d like him to be the Press Secretary.
I think we need a song for a battle cry - if Lee Greenwood would allow it:
And I’m proud that I was American
When it still meant I was free.
And I won’t forget the ones who lied
To take that right from me.
And I’d gladly stand up next to you
And defend her still today,
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land!
God bless the USA!
“Hes an atheist and would bring his own unique baggage to the office. But Id like him to be the Press Secretary.”
Nugent? An atheist?? Do you have a reference for that?
I think you might be mistaken....he has made numerous references to gods country over the years.
It is really easy to rid the bureaucracy of the bad people, shut them down completely. We don’t need them, shut down all of them not specifically authorized by the Constitution. Let the cockroaches scamper for a real job.
I read an interview in a book with him (lengthy conversation) from the early 1990s.
I can find 69,000 hits on google for ted nugent atheist. I can see about locating the passage from the interview. He may have also backed down on some of his rhetoric but I don’t recall seeing it myself.
I’m not holding it against him or his candidacy. Just saying that it would present an obstacle to him seeking office. Just as Mitt Romney’s Mormonism was considered an “issue” by the Pravda Media but not Obama’s agnosticism/secular humanism/atheism masked as non-denominational “Christianity” or Harry Reid’s own Mormonism.
He would also face “womanizer” charges from his 60s/70s heyday as a musician and would take flak for comments he made on illegal immigration.
None of it would prevent his candidacy, just make it cumberson. But Press Secretary is an unelected office and would permit him to give the press plenty of fodder and high blood pressure.

In the summer of 2000, Nugent opened 79 sold-out concerts on the KISS Farewell Tour. That same year, he published a book of essays titled God, Guns and Rock-N-Roll.
Why would an atheist write a book with the first word,GOD?!
Excerpt from a salon interview July 24, 2002:
He’s a rock star (since releasing his first album in 1967) who has been clean and sober (no drugs, alcohol or tobacco) his entire life; a Christian, a hunter and a conservationist. He hosts a radio show, edits and publishes a magazine (Ted Nugent Adventure Outdoors Magazine), produced a PBS series (”Ted Nugent’s Spirit of the Wild”), is a board member at the National Rifle Association and is a national spokesman for Rush Limbaugh, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, DARE and MADD.

I’ll have to lay my hands on the book tonight. There are references online to atheist websites that say he was an outspoke atheist at one time. Maybe he’s come to Jesus.
I caught that spot on Cavuto last week with Nugent. It was great. He kept hammering on the PIGS.
