Looks like President Obama sees himself as a god-like visionary who is leading the sheep into a social justice czardom instead of following the will of the “we the people”. .. The key bureaucracy that we all need to know about...is the Accountable Care Organization. ACO is the future of the American health care as envisioned by Obama and voted into reality by the Democrats in Congress.
The ACO goal is stated as following: providing quality services to patients while earning a reasonable livelihood in the process.
The key word is “reasonable” – the Gov will decide what reasonable livelihood is for the providers and the doctors. This will be achieved after extensive research that will make possible to measure the quality of the hospitals and doctors services (Sec. 3013. Quality measure development, Sec. 3014. Quality measurement etc.)
After the “quality” of the hospitals and the doctors have been measured they will be notified about the “reasonable” livelihood they will be provided by the Gov. Most likely the reimbursement rates for government insured patients will be lowered to achieve the Obama Care 500 billion cuts from Medicare.
After the doctors have being measured and found wanting reimbursement from the Gov the health care providers will separate themselves in two groups – those who will work with the government and those who will not take patients with government insurance.
It is likely that the best doctors and clinics will be able to afford independence because the people who are be able to pay out of their own pocket for the best care possible will continue to do it. The rest of the providers (mostly inexperienced or mediocre) will accept the folks with the care under Gov.

Of course, doctors who murder their patients will get a pay raise.
Goodbye to offering treatment to more difficult cases. Why take on a case with a high chance of something going wrong when it would affect your “grade?”
Under Obamacare, most doctors will quit as social justice will call for them to be paid the same as street cleaners.
When the government start deciding what is reasonable livelihood - we are all in trouble.
They’ll be lowering “the people’s” costs, so it only makes sense....if only in a Dr. Kevorkian/Mengele/Emanuel sort of way. You are aware of the published writings of Rahm Emanuel’s brother, aren’t you? His serious proposition is that old folks are a net cost to the government and therefore should simply be allowed to die.
If I am merely allowed to make as much as Ms. Obama made each year at her hospital job, I’ll be quite content.

It was like this in communism and the best doctors ran away to the Western world - the folks were left with mediocre poor care with no technology or innovation.
Obama expects American to sit still for this as if we are hostages on a hijacked airliner, which proves he is NOT very much of an AMERICAN!

I don’t think you get it. The masters deserve their lofty pay. The peons who work for them deserve only what their masters deem sufficient.
Or many GP's will be forced to go underground and treat patients on a cash basis. House calls again anyone?
