Quiet words from Interior Secretary Ken Salazar on 3/5, directly indicated a new three-year ban, at least in offshore oil drilling leases. Pure facts dictate this move will kill any American initiative to produce all of its oil independently. More than 2/3 of the American public supports such a move per a Rasmussen poll. It is unknown why the Obama Administration would make such a virulent move, and not allow America to become more oil-independent in a time of major global political upheaval

Obozo will not allow the US to drill off-shore, but his man a Export/Import Bank approved 12 billion to finance an off-shore project for his Commie buddy in Brazil.

IMO, our territory containing natural resources have been put up as collateral by our government to secure continued debt sales. It’s the only logical explanation about why this government just refuses to utilize our own resources.

It’s obvious to me - the Obama Administration wants to destroy this country as fast and completely as possible!
Methinks he’s given our oil reserves to Russia.....in exchange for nuke agreement.
Obama wants to support his muslim buddies by stopping oil production in America.
I say not allowing America to produce our own oil supports terrorists. So which side of the war on terror is Obama on? I think we know that answer. Not America’s side.
The real long-term damage here is that even AFTER these bums are on each others’ rubber-chicken circuits, businesses will be very afraid to plan anything more than four years in advance from here on out - and many large companies think 5, 10,20 years out.

This Offshore Drilling Ban has been in place for 29 years and has been renewed every year except once.
