Obama Likes Euroweenies So Much He Even Dates Like One

On my Twitter feed, I spotted a post by Patrick Ruffini asking a pertinent question… "What's up with Barack Obama writing out dates euro-style?"
Check out this photo as hosted on the White House website…
Notice that the president signed his name and then penned the date as "11 June 2009"? That is the European way to note dates, not the American way. In America we always put the month, then the day, then the year.
Obama hates America so much he can't even stand to write dates like Americans do!

ummm, ok
I do it that way because I work with people outside and/or not from the US.
But hey, I guess that means me and my buddies in uniform (they do it that way too) are un-American. So if you’ll excuse me, we have to go eat some cheese and surrender to someone.

Filenames sort sequentially with such date encoded names.
Many times, I just use 20100323

Yes, I think that’s the military style. As I recall, I was told it was to save the extra key stroke for the comma.
Don’t know why Obama does it like that. As far as I know, he’s never been in the military, at least not the US military. Maybe it’s the White House style.
Navy and Marines might do it differently.

Yes. That is the way the military writes a date. I did it for 20 years.
I can teach any of you ‘military math’ if you need to figure out to the DAY what your retirement date will be, LOL!
0bama is just an @ss who thinks he’s ‘all that and a bag of chips.’ It’s really pretty simple. :)

My husband writes it out the military way even though he wasn’t in the military. I kind of like it actually.
