A 30-year-old woman accepted a ride home from Fast Eddie's night club, but instead of returning her to her Alexandria home, the man and five of his friends drove her to a Waldorf house and held her hostage for several hours as they repeatedly raped her, authorities said.
The Charles County Sheriff's Office said all six men appear to be illegal immigrants. The men, ages 18 to 28, have been charged with rape and false imprisonment.
Authorities say the men were in the car when the woman accepted the ride home late Monday night. They drove to a house on Nicholas Road, where police said they live with more than a dozen men and women.
Inside they raped the woman, threatening to kill her if she didn't comply with their demands. She was able to escape around 5:30 a.m. and ran to a nearby house where she called police. Authorities said they believe other men may have been involved, but fled the house before police arrived.

For that reason, your words will be ignored by many readers here and by all DU and Kos readers [which is unfortunate, since you are 100% correct, and women would be a whole lot safer if they avoided situations like this].
As for the rapists, I can think of no imaginable situation in which the world is better with them breathing our air. Fry them, or get a rope. It's a shame the days when the woman's father or brothers would impose a permanent solution are long gone [at least outside TX, ID, and UT].

I’m sorry, and I do think these guys are scum, but, why are some women that stupid? Do NOT get into cars with men you don’t know. Do NOT go to bars and pick guys up. Just don’t do it! This woman is probably lucky she was raped and not murdered.
Makes me sick as well but this is nothing new. It is no less predictable than muslims being terrorists but we dare no profile.
Pigs like this are on every street in America now. They break our laws (who doesn’t now that congress does?) abuse our generosity, destroy our cities with vandalism, gangs and filth, clog our emergency rooms, drop anchor babies at will...and we elect politicians that let them, no ENCOURAGE them.

To be fair, there was nothing to prevent these guys (I refuse to call them men) from grabbing a woman off the street and dragging her into the car.
In some of these cultures, including some of our own subcultures, a woman who voluntarily gets into the car is “asking for it.”

These guys may have been out to rape anyone.
The issue is that she nominated herself for the task.
99% of avoiding crime is making some other sucker look like a better target.
To be equally fair though, she did make it easier for them, and she made it harder for a concerned citizen to step in (especially if he’s concealed carry) or at least call the police. The rapists are 100% at fault and deserve to die, but the victim could and should have been more cautious.

I tend to believe these guys probably did rape her, as seems fashionable amongst many of the illegals but playing devils advocate a little, let’s not discount a prostitute who did not get paid. That situation is not uncommon.
Nor is 12 illegals living in one house or apartment; it’s how they save money to send back to Mexico.
Unfortunately, there is very little information in the media report and the police report will probably be dozens of pages long with this many suspects. Ah, but we will never read it...
Find their employers and arrest them for breaking the law. They need to have their mug shots published as well.
Precisely, and then fine them 3x the annual salary paid to these munchkins. Nice to know my tax money is going to protect my country from invaders.
