We deem you all insured!

The arrogance of the Democratic leadership in Washington DC hit a new low. Instead of voting for the Health Care Bill the House of Representatives will just deem it passed. This is the “new way to get your way”: deeming the bills passed.

If Obama-Pelosi-Reid deem the Senate Bill passed you will get the following perks:

- You will be deemed insured – meaning you will have to hurry up and buy yourself health insurance or else you will pay a penalty fee (called assessment instead of penalty fee so you don’t get stressed or angry). If you fail to have proof of health insurance at the end of the year the bill comes in effect you will be deemed a “freeloader” and “public enemy” and the IRS will collect the penalty fee (between $695 and $750 per individual) from your tax-return... Your employees will be deemed insured. If they are not insured and you have less than 50 of them – it is deemed to be their own problem. If they are not insured and you have more than 50 employees you are deemed to pay penalty fee to IRS of $3,000 per full-time worker not insured. If you have 52 employees you may consider getting rid of 3 of them to save from ObamaCare tax penalties.... For the wonderful work the House democrats are doing we should just deem them paid instead of actually paying them. Than we should deem them rich and make them pay their own ticket home. Than we should deem them unnecessary and just pick the names of random citizens for House duty.

Anybody could just sit there while President Obama and his friends keep deeming that we still live in America.

We all deem ourselves Amish and you can’t stop us!!!

http://www.ehow.com/facts_5085636_amish-pay-federal-taxes.html

The Amish believe in self-sufficiency and communal help within the order. Although they do pay most taxes, they are exempt from paying some federal and state taxes because of their religious beliefs.

Beliefs
Due to Biblical interpretation, the Amish believe in living apart from the outside world. Amish religious beliefs and practices are protected by U.S. laws, which include exemption from certain government programs and military duty.
Taxes
The Amish do pay federal, state, sales and real estate taxes. They are not required to pay into any tax system that is against their beliefs and correspondingly do not receive the benefits of these programs.
Social Security
The Amish believe in taking care of their own, and most are against insurance policies. They don’t believe in Social Security because it is a form of insurance; thus, they are not required to pay into the program.
Medicare
Individuals within the Amish community are exempt from paying into Medicare as well. Like Social Security, Medicare is interpreted as a form of insurance.
Employment
The exception to paying into Medicare and Social Security is when an Amish individual is hired by an outside source, because employers are still required to withhold these taxes. Amish individuals who are hired within their community or are self-employed remain exempt.

Child Labor Laws:

The fourth time was the charm for U.S. Rep. Joseph R. Pitts (R-PA). His co-sponsored legislation, that will allow 14-to 17-year-old Amish youths to work in woodworking plants, recently passed the House and Senate, and became law.
Pitts had introduced the legislation three times before, beginning in 1998. The bill had passed the House in previous attempts, but not the Senate—until this year, when it was placed in a massive federal spending bill. Pitts’ co-sponsor for the Amish labor bill was U.S. Rep. Mark Souder (R-IN). The bill was introduced into the Senate by AMen …

A 1988 federal law modified the 1965 law to exempt Amish-owned businesses from the requirement of including their Amish employees in the social security system.

My favorite cartoon for decades....yes, I love the Wizard of Id, but I mean the cartoon on the cover. Had a shirt with this on it when I was in school. It's always pretty much said it all.

Neil Cavuto said Rush gave out the numbers for congress to his listeners and now the phone lines are overloaded.
The numbers are also listed on Rush’s page.

Here is one of the ones he gave out on the radio that I’m calling. So far it’s been busy but I’m going to burn it up till I get to tell my congress critter to vote NO!
