In Ciudad Juárez, Mexico -- just over the border from El Paso, TX -- gunmen for a drug cartel assassinated "an American consulate worker and her husband to death . . . and killed the husband of another consular employee and wounded his two young children" in separate but coordinated incidents as reported by Marc Lacey for The New York Times:
It was not the first attack against American interests in Mexico by traffickers. Unknown attackers shot at and hurled a grenade that never exploded at the American consulate in Monterrey in 2008. But the killings in Ciudad Juárez on Saturday afternoon of two American citizens and a Mexican national married to an American government employee appeared to take the violence to a new, brutal level. * * * The Ciudad Juárez shootings took place within minutes of each other about 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The victims had left a social gathering at another consulate workers home when they were attacked, officials said. The first attack was reported at 2:32 p.m. Jorge Alberto Salcido Ceniceros, 37, the husband of a consulate worker, was found dead in a white Honda Pilot, with bullet wounds to his body. In the back seat, were two injured children, one aged four and one seven. They were taken to the hospital for treatment. * * * Another call came in exactly 10 minutes later, several miles away. This time it was a Toyota RAV 4 with Texas plates that had been shot up, with two dead adults inside and a baby crying from a car seat in the back, the authorities said. A relative identified the dead couple to The Associated Press as Lesley A. Enriquez, 25, a consulate employee, and her husband, Arthur H. Redelf, 30, from across the border in El Paso, Texas.

Had this happened in Afghanistan or Iraq, the full force of the united states military would have been brought to bear.
Instead, we’re teaching them a different lesson.
Israel has the correct idea...Terrorist know that IF you attack an Israeli diplomat, you WILL die. And you will spend the rest of your life looking over your shoulder.
Or he will invite them to a health care summit and give them his `death stare”: los ojos del muerte.
His laser-like looks of disapproval will cause them to whimper like frightened little muchachas before they are ruduced to small piles of ashes.
At least that’s they way teleprompter should read, e.g. “Let me be clear—OK, now the death stare, now, say, “If you do it again I will stare at you a second time” ... now, look left and right, OK, scratch your nose with your middle finger, that’s tellin’ `em champ!
One of my favorite Israeli operations involved giving and explosive rigged cellphone to a terrorist and calling him. When he answered they blew his head off.
Lesley Enriquez was pregnant at the time of her murder as reported by Mary Beth Sheridan for The Wasghington Post, and her husband Arthur Redelf was an El Paso County Detention officer, and a ten-year veteran with the Sheriff’s Office as reported by Adrienne Alvarez for KTSM.
This is the latest Act of War. Hussein is “outraged”. OK, then do something Pretender-in-Chief.
In other reports it’s not clear a US diplomat was killed. While the death of a Mexican employee working at the consulate and her US husband were killed, and very much a tragic act, it’s NOT the same as an attack on a Diplomat.
This may just be a very repugnant murder which is bad enough.
I just saw that in the movie, ‘Law Abiding Citizen’.
I saw it on the history channel a while back.
The Israelis “encouraged” a fellow terrorist to leave the cell phone at the target’s house and he cut the phone line. The Israelis called at like 4 AM and the terrorist answered.
Thanks for posting. BTTT!
The government may not care about terrorists killing its civilians or its military, but I think they care when it kills government employees - it’s self preservation.
Treat whoever is responsible like we would treat Al Qaeda.
Blackwater, anyone? But then some of the bad guys may get hurt so we can't have that.
CBS actually reported this on their ‘news’ tonight. They even showed some of the blood and mayhem. These were targeted assassinations. They found 5 beheaded people in one Mexican town today.
The NAFBPO news report often tells of threats to border patrol, law enforcement, our bureaucrats get from the cartels. Theyre just keeping their promise. A good number of the upper class lives mostly in the US to escape it. The mayor of one town in Mexico lives in McAllen, Tx.
We’re playing with fire with Mexico’s mess and pretending it’s ‘no big deal’.

I've been saying that for years...I saw a piece years ago on the police in a Mexican border town driving stolen American cars with the plates still on them. It became clear this country was a lawless, corrupt anarchist's dream come true...no matter how much they try to paint over the truth in the MSM...
“The CIA doesnt like to see US consulate workers killed. They are there representing the US AND the President. 0bama needs to return wet work with wet work. No pussy-footing no equivocation and no time line. Just do it.”
We have already provided Mexico with ‘intelligence’ service under the pentagon.
Some about that here.

Today, the mayor of Juarez talked about the attack and what he thinks it means for the U.S. and Mexico.
“Well, I think what is very important about this whole thing is that the U.S., in a statement by President Obama, consider this a joint problem. This is something that needs to be solved by both countries. This is a problem right along the border. It’s not just a Mexican problem. It’s a U.S.-Mexico problem,” Mayor Jose Reyes Ferriz said during a phone interview.
Yep that finger always points to the US when Mexico examines it's problems. You never hear them take sole responsibility for anything...just like a counter-dependent child. One could hope that Mexico would some day finally grow up to adulthood but that seems unlikely. First you have to act like an adult, look in the mirror and own up to your own responsibilities and mistakes.

Perfect! There was an article by way of NAFBO the other day. A Mexican journalist said the same thing and reasoned that is why it’s citizens act like petulant, irresponsible children.
That guy’s probably lookin’ for his head by now.
