Criticism that data on unemployment statistics dont properly account for people being shifted from full-time to part-time jobs was brushed off by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev). What these critics fail to consider is the fact that part-time jobs offer more leisure time, Reid countered. This extra leisure is a benefit that the Democratic Party has bestowed upon an overworked population. We dont get proper credit for that.

It’s funny to watch the comments. I like your acronym though “TGIJS” LOL
+1, very annoying.
Did you read it? Oh !, your too good to do that! Do you understand that if that socialist healthcare bill passes, you, your children, and their children will be suffering under it? And be paying for it forever after ?
Name one candidate for office who’s won and in office since this FR movement started ? Why ? As I scribed in my page on how to “run a $1,000,000 campaign on a $1,000 budget”. When discussing websites I asked this question. “Does the guy next door, across the street, or down the block even know your running”?
As a political movement Free Repbulic is nothing more than a bunch of folks setting on their duffs at their computers preaching to an off key choir making themselves feel important. There are a few that do more, but amongst the active posters you can count them on one hand.
If you go through those state posting boards there will be no mention of upcomming local and state elections, filing times, or even election dates, let alone candidates or their positions.
The only thing of value Free Republic does is its news coverage which through its voluntary cotributers makes it one of the best sources for developments.
But as a political activist movement it ain’t.
You preaching to us and me? LOL.
Little like asking the choir to sing “The Old Rugged Cross”.
Mind if I borrow that and second it here . . .
