I find it interesting that one constituency, Lawyers, endeavors to Socialize another, Medical Doctors. Medical Doctors are currently getting out of the business. Fewer and fewer accept medicaid/medicare patients. Methink Lawyers should be "Socialized" as well: - Put them in a big pen. Call out at random. - Fees/compensation should be fixed as is planned for Doctors. - Attire: Government issued round straw hats and pajamas. Wigs? - Foods: simple, no wines. - Lodging: modest apartments. - Transportation: bicycles. This country has a stinking lawyer problem reflected in the biggest expense for a Medical Doctor: malpractice insurance. Legal harassment and court room junk science is the norm.
Hear hear!
The only way any of this stuff is even considered is because the people making the laws and their owners are always exempt from the effects.
Sounds great to me!
I agree. Put anyone practicing law into a big salary regulated pool that is based on 10% above national poverty level. See how those creeps like socialism when it applies to them.
If there is a revolution, it should start with the legal “profession”. Get rid of 90% of them should solve 99% of our nations ills.
“Get rid of 99% of them should solve 90% of our nations ills.”
There, fixed it.
I make this suggestion to my family and friends several weeks ago so I’m in.
The need for lawyers is created by the laws written by the government. Therefore they should be provided to any citizen free of charge (LOL your tax dollars at work) for anyone who needs one.
I would also have to state that as a lawyer you not be allowed to set up a private practice. You’re automatically on the civil servant payroll.
