Finished my painting (1 of 3 9/12 March on DC)

Other than a few touch ups I will do by the end of the week, this is pretty much done. Several people requested I post it when it is completed, so here it is! Hope you enjoy it. Once of at least 3 paintings I am doing of the 9/12 March on DC.

Good question.

I have at least 2 other paintings of the DC march I am planning. One other one I have at least half completed. The third I am anxious to begin. I think the third one will be the best of the three. Once completed, I will probably take them all to the printers to have them set up for prints.
Yes, eventually I want to live off of my work. I’m in transition.

I did a search and found it at politicalclassdismissed.com. It's called the Betsy Ross flag and the II stands for the second American revolution.

You're welcome. I was also curious about the statue that was represented in the painting. It seems to be part of the Grant memorial and depicts the cavalry. Your painting is very remarkable. I wish I were as talented. I really want to see any others that you do. Please ping me with your next efforts.

I don't know about the mechanics, other than to ask in a vanity posting headline. FR has some great word wizards, often hilarious. A serious work of art is not hilarious, but the talent is definitely there. Freedom Rides -- my suggestion.

Yes, this is a part of the Grant memorial. Grant is in the middle. This is the cavalry. They are in a full charge. The other is of a team of horses pulling a cannon. The lead horse is making a sharp right turn on that statue.
