I never realized the ChiComs had their own U-2 clones flying at 80,000 ft in order to film the SAM impact. Amazing! I would have thought they would be worried that the SAM might get confused.

Pretty incredible range on that SAM too! Most SAMs run out of juice before they reach U-2 altitudes. This must have been a Super SAM. A Secret Super SAM. Probably even a Super Secret Super SAM.

It really boggles the mind, doesn’t it?
