Brown Blows It
The Bovine Scatologist ^ | 02/22/2010 | bsartist

Newly elected Senator Scott Brown wasted no time plunging the knife in the back of the hordes of people who thrusted him into power. In a crass attempt to suck-up to the people of Massachusetts who didn't vote for him, he crossed party lines in favor of the Democratic-backed “jobs bill”. "It's not a perfect bill, I was comfortable with that vote... It is the first step in creating jobs, not only for the people of Massachusetts but for the people of the country.” Brown said.

ROFL

“Spending for the Commonwealth Care subsidized program has doubled, from $630 million in 2007 to an estimated $1.3 billion for 2009, which is not sustainable.” - Liberal Boston Globe.

http://newledger.com/2009/03/the-real-costs-of-massachusetts%e2%80%99s-health-care-reform-act/ — A good summary.

It is lowering care for most everyone while driving up the costs to both individuals and the state. How is that an improvement? The quality and availability of care is declining and costing more.

I have my doubts that a true conservative could win in MA. He said time after time that he is an Independent Republican and would vote for what he thought was good for his state. It looks like it would’ve passed without his vote because the good ole Snow, Collins and Voinovich ponied up on it. God, I can’t wait until Voinovich retires and we get a true conservative as Senator from Ohio.

I said that I was thrilled that Martha lost. Did you not read that or did you not understand that?

No I must have missed that. My appologies.

Name me just one Republican to the right of FDR, i.e., one who advocates going back to pre-FDR gov.

Being right of FDR is not the same thing as going back to the gold-standard, so you got me there. Jim DeMint, Senator SC, is pretty conservative.

I pretty much agree with everything else you said. The Republican leadership has failed to LEAD. They haven't set any standards of who they will or will not endorse, and I think it's going to cost them their party in the long run (if America lasts that long).

Are you serious? You got to be a troll if you are serious that Romeny (yes I purposely misspell his name since he is a joke) is conservative at all. There is one die hard Freeper on here that was pro-Romney in 2008 and I still rub her nose in it every time I see her pro-Romney stance

Haha snookered again by the always trustworthy liberal left. That number $1.3 billion is the projected cost for 2011. Romney health care has saved over $250 million for the public. Massachusetts has high health care costs as is. That isn't Romney’s fault that he lives in a liberal state with liberal representatives who keep the prices high. Mitt has challenged the liberals to do better, and he has stated that he would welcome better changes if they will make them, which they will not. So stop siding with the liberals on this one. The plan, however, is within the projected 1% of the budget like it was supposed to be. Massachusetts has the lowest percentage of uninsured in the nation.

The liberals in Massachusetts HATE Mitt Romney. PAY ATTENTION for once.

If you want to stop being wrong all of the time read some CREDITBLE SOURCES.

A troll isn't right on facts, he's just an emotional blowhard. Oh wait! Guess whom I have in mind right now.

And you are stating factually that Romeny is a conservative? Just like Charlie Crist was “supposedly” given the highest conservative rating and we all know he is pretty damned liberal for a Republican. Marco Rubio is carving up that McRINO like it’s Thanksgiving all over again. Wake up and smell the coffee, we need conservatives in 2010 and 2012, not more RINOS like Guiliani, Romeny, Hucklesbee and Shirley McLaime. You want to start voting for RINOs? Start voting Democrat and stop calling yourself a conservative, you are part of the problem.

Creditable sources? Take a look at the political activity of those running that organization. All of them are big supporters of Democrats for election/reelection. Some of them were large supporters of Romney at the same time they supported Dodd.

The only reason to whole-heartedly support Brown was to poke a finger in the eye of the Kennedy “dynasty” in Mass. Otherwise, I fully expected him to be another Mass. Republican. I didn’t expect anything out of him like I would an Oklahoma Republican. And yeah, so many who started toying with the idea of him for President right away was ridiculous.

They have their facts right and the way you throw the term liberal around, you have 0 credibility. Jim DeMint and Tancredo both supported Mitt Romney and they are about as conservative as you get.
