Did Palestinian Spotters Help Israel Assassinate Mahmoud al Mabhouh?

Evidence is mounting in Dubai that Israel assassinated Hamas terrorist Mahmoud al-Mabhouh. That is not so surprising. What is surprising is that the operation was helped by Fatah members. Who says that the Israelis and Palestinians cannot work together?

it is fair to say that no "national liberation movement" thoroughly infiltrated by their enemy has ever been successful, and the Palestinian Authority will be no exception. However, the corrupt Fatah thugocracy in the West Bank (as opposed to the death-worshipers of Hamas who run the Gaza Strip) is about to turn that wisdom on its head.

You see, for Fatah the goal is no longer statehood. They succeed by never quite becoming a full state. In fact, if the Palestinians were given a nation in the West Bank and/or Gaza Strip, they would immediately fall apart. Their land is barren, and their people have no particular skills needed in the world marketplace. The most talented Palestinians left for the US, the Persian Gulf or Europe already.

The way that Fatah runs their racket is brilliant: pretend to be a nation-in-waiting, receive billions of dollars of assistance from the West, and never take on the responsibilities of schools, clinics, infrastructure or disarming non-state militias.

The lunatics of Hamas throw a wrench in to this plan. They are actually crazy enough to fight for a failed state. Thus, Fatah's quiet logistical support for Israeli arrests and targeted killings of Hamas members makes sense.

Actually, the evidence is unclear.

I have heard of ZERO evidence that would indicate Israel over the Palestinian Authority, and my first thought when this came out was palistinian rivalries.

Wait, there is evidence that it is Israel’s doing. The passports used were fakes, but all in the names of olim — people who legally emigrated to Israel from West Europe. Those names are known and processed by the Israeli Absorption Bureau.

The Jooooooooz did it! Nonsense. If the mossad was involved, you wouldn’t even suspect it.

Fatah did the hit to prevent Hamas from releasing Shalit. The agents, however, look like Frenchmen, so Fatah may have had some (sloppy) help.

I can not find any mention of such a bureau or any evidence for your statement. It appears you may be a member of the Arafat Gay Day Parade based on yopur recent sign on.

Do you mean the Ministry of Immigrant Absorption?

This is an acknowledged fact. The ids of a half dozen British Jews were used by the hit team, and this raises numerous interesting questions. The people claim that their passport details were stolen. Certainly, the PA does not have the ability to do this. If they did, there would be roars of outrage from the British and Irish governments, instead of a muted reaction that we now see.

But to pass to the topic of this article - yes, two Palestinians are under arrest in Dubai, and they apparently are linked to the PA. The Mossad agents got away, and their collaborators were left behind. Slick ... except, the fact that they are now in custody might raise problems for Israel, and more information about this hit is going to come out.

Certainly, the PA does not have the ability to do this.

Who are you and why are you here? The PA is connected to many countries that do have the capabilities.

Yes, I meant Ministry of Immigrant Absorption. Sorry I was too lazy to look up the correct name. As for Fatah stopping Shalit’s release, that makes no sense. Shalit’s kidnapping is bad for business.

Arafat may have been gay, but I am not and I hate all parades.

#1: The only people arrested in Dubai are Palestinian Fatah.

#2: the hit was sloppy.

#3: Hamas was in charge of hiding Shalit

Conclusion: the Hamas leader was killed by Fatah to prevent Shalit’s release.

*proof that the Mossad was unvolved is that Israeli passports were used of *real* Israeli citizens...something that could have gotten innocent Israeli civilians targeted for their own assasinations. Mossad doesn’t do that.
