Here is the entire transcript from Tiger Woods' speech presented live on-air today as a formal public apology to everyone hurt by his transgressions.

Many of you in this room are my friends. Many of you in this room know me. Many of you have cheered for me or you worked with me or you supported me. Now, every one of you has good reason to be critical of me.
I want to say to each of you simply and directly: I am deeply sorry for my irresponsible and selfish behavior I engaged in.
I know people want to find out how I could be so selfish and so foolish. People want to know how I could have done these things to my wife Elin and to my children, and while I have always tried to be a private person, there are some things I want to say. Elin and I have started the process of discussing the damage caused by my behavior.
As Elin pointed out to me, my real apology to her will not come in the form of words. It will come from my behavior over time. We have a lot to discuss, however what we say to each other will remain between the two of us. I am also aware of the pain my behavior has caused to those of you in this room. I have let you down and I have let down my fans. For many of you, especially my friends, my behavior has been a personal disappointment.
To those of you who work for me: I have let you down personally and professionally ...

When does he resume playing golf?
Per the transcript..Some day. I don't rule out this year
Thanks...
“But still, I know I have barely disappointed all of you. I have made you question who I am and how I could have done the things I did.”
Is this what he REALLY said?
As public apologies go, this is a pretty darn good one. He avoided the ridiculous “If I offended anyone ...” kind of non-apology apology. I think people should take him at his word that he still has a lot of work to do and intends to get it done. He’s certainly shown the ability in the past to set high goals and reach them.
Entire time he was speaking all I could envision was that porn “star”s store bought enormous boobs.
Gross.
They have JUST NOW started to DISCUSS HIS BEHAVIOR????
I have to agree. There haven't been many public apologies in history comparable to this one.
Since Tiger Woods never picked my pocket, broke my leg, or got one thin dime from me that I want back, I sort of feel obliged to accept this apology.
LLS
Who cares!
I beg to differ regarding how good an apology this was! If you are going to apologize for something do you have to read it? He got up there and just put on a show like a high school kid reading a term paper rather than expressing heart-felt sorrow. And sex addiction therapy - come on - get real - what a bunch of psychobabble BS that is!!
IMHO, he's the Obama of golf.
I heard this is what Tiger Woody said:
“I didn’t do it, my d*ck did it, so I’m sending my d*ck to sex addiction school so it can get a spanking or whatever they do to bad d*cks there. Meanwhile, obviously I’ll be behaving myself while my d*ck is gone.”
He’s a cartoon character now to me.
Tiger covered the whole situation so thoroughly, and is immediately returning to therapy. He realizes exactly what he’s done to family, friends, fans, and employees, as well as his sponsors and foundation. He knows he faces a lot of work, and that it’s a *spiritual* battle. He holds himself responsible for his actions, he knows he needs help, and that he is also responsible for making atonement. He even made a reference to his on course behavior.
I’m convinced that this is a statement made by a man who truly woke up and smelled the coffee.
Time will tell. IMO, with God’s help, he’s going to make it. I, for one, will keep him in my prayers, and may God be glorified in His display of grace, and His readiness to make a man whole.
