I just received word that a friend of mine, her teenaged daughter, her daughter-in-law, grandson and granddaughter were in an accident last night. My dear friend and her daughter were killed, the daughter-in-law is brain dead. Grandson is critical and granddaughter is in serious condition. Her husband and son are headed home from Iraq where they were serving as I write this.

Please lift this family up to the Lord that he comforts and supports them as they go thru this difficult time. Thank you all so very much.

God in Heaven, in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ, I pray that this family be comforted by thy Spirit, with the Peace that passeth all understanding, in the firm knowledge that their departed loved ones are in a far better place, and that they shall all be reunited one day through their faith on thy Son. I pray that those injured may be healed according to thy will, and that their lifes, and the impact of their lifes through their family and firends will be a further witbness unto Thee.

May we all lift them up through prayer and faith in our Redeemer, even Jesus Christ, and in His Holy Name, amen.

May God be with the Husband and Son and give them the strength to get them through this very difficult time. May the Grandson and Granddaughter be returned to healthy by our Lord.

It was a bad night. A close friend of mine is over in the MED in Memphis with her son in critical condition after he had a bad accident at 11:45 last night. God has kept him alive and the news is encouraging so far.

It’s hard to know where to begin. This tragedy has affected so many people. But I pay dear Lord for those who are still alive, please heal their health, both their bodies and their terrible shock and grief. And then I pray for the survivors whose shock and grief must be beyond mere words.
