Marvel Comic's Captain America is the mightiest soldier with the super powerful secret soldier formula that makes him a super man. Sadly, this muscle bound hero that took on the whole Nazi army during WWII seems to be afraid of those American people who've joined the Tea Party movement. Not only is Cappy quaking in his little red booties, but he's sure that the Tea Party folks are dangerous racists, too.
Isn't it wonderful that a decades old American comic book hero is now being used to turn readers against our very political system, being used to slander folks that are standing up for real American principles in real life -- and one called "Captain America" at that?
In issue number 602 of Captain America, a new story line has begun called "Two Americas." In it the current Captain (there have been a few of them, apparently) is on the trail of a faux Captain America that is mentally deranged and getting chummy with some white supremacist, anti-government, survivalists types going by the name of "the Watchdogs." While investigating this subversive group, Captain America and his partner The Falcon -- a black super hero -- have decided to try and infiltrate the secretive organization.
In preparation for the infiltration, Marvel Comics depicts the two super heroes out of costume and observing from a rooftop a street filled with what can only be described as a Tea Party protest. The scene shows crowds of people in city streets carrying signs that say, "stop the socialists," "tea bag libs before they tea bag you," and "no to new taxes." Naturally, the people in these crowds are depicted as being filled with nothing but white folks...

You forgot to mention that they now have “gay day” at Disney resorts.
I have a few thousnd dollars worth of Marvel comics and I’ve been reluctant to sell them for years, as I do not want to add to cultural insanity.
With this great post and comments I’m now resolved to toss them all. Occasionally in lots of old books I get books that are morally questionable beyond any thought of scholarly use, and although it does occur rarely I do toss them.
It’s like something I grappled with when I worked with a web site that offered a free email forwarding service that was open to all. It was non-porn, the service agreement was only that the emails would be aggregated and resold to mass mailers — this was ten years back now — but in my work in slicing and dicing the usage logs and sign-ups it became clear that 80% of the users were porn sites using the email forwarding as a fan-club front. After cogitating on that I decided to sever my relationship with them. I would have been adding to the cultural decline to far more of an extent than I wanted.
How much of porn traffic would have been tolerable to my morals? I don’t know. But 80%, 60% — too much.
The same thing here. Marvel is beyond the pale, no good person should associate with it — in my opinion, it’s gone beyond any point of future repair, and is a cultural danger.
Don't give these twits any ideas...most of the stuff being published now is based on recycled plots anyway...
Can this character and the whole Captain America franchise look any more gay?
Thanks for the update — I’ll take a look around for the newer Batman.
Now that the Marvel Universe is dead to me, I need to reconnect with my roots, or current version thereof.
Please don’t condone that practice on FR.
Not all ‘file sharing’ is theft, but downloading copyright material is - even from those gits at Marvel. It may or may not be illegal depending on the laws where you are, but it’s got to be morally reprehensible.
Stan Lee...big big big big BIG time Democrat operative.
(didn’t the plot of the latest Spiderman movie give it away for you?) Democrat pols actually quote his comic book stuff in speeches....”With great power comes great responsibility”...etc.etc.
Try the Marvel MAX Series. Its much more suited to adults and does away with a lot of the happy feely liberal twist.
The Punisher Max (aka Punisher V5) series is some of marvels best work in their entire library ever.
Post the following on one of the comic geek sites: “Got tired of the marxist slant in today’s comics; so I sold my early 60’s Marvel Comics on eBay and gave the proceeds to SarahPAC.” Pop corn, watch the fun.
I thought Marvel had decided to end the Captain America series? Outside of overweight middle-aged single failures who live in their Momma’s house, who reads comic books nowadays? I didn’t like super heros when I was 6, the only comics I really liked were Sgt Rock, Sgt Fury, and Classics Illustrated. Never bought into the “super power” thingy even as a kid. I guess that’s why I didn’t vote for bammy.
Marvel used to have great lessons:
With great power comes great responsibility.
Registration of mutants is wrong.
Do the right thing, even when it hurts.
I thought Marvel had decided to end the Captain America series?
Coming soon....the New Adventures of GLOBAL CITIZEN!
really? cool
yeah i hate it when they do 40 titles and all crossover
Batman used to do that too and Spiderman if i recall correctly
It was only a matter of time before they turned the Captain against America.Nothing should surprise us after they turned Batgirl into a lesbian....
This is not surprise.
Leftist indoctrination crap has been shoveled down kids throats since before the Fifties in “government schools.”
No child left behind and all that!
Way to ruin my favorite Superhero, a-holes....
Screw Marvel.....
You know what’s dangerous? Insisting there’s still some kind of globull warming when half the northeast is buried in 3 feet of snow!
What’s dangerous is the Resident attempting to pervert our freedoms and convert America is communism.
What’s dangerous is indoctrinating our children to believe this mindless, evil crap.
Captain Amerika can shove it.

How does a black superhero infiltrate a white supremacist group? Is his power to turn his skin white?
