Chuck Roger at American Thinker weaves the nefarious Progressive educators into his analysis of why Obama is so screwed up. Add to Obamas narcissism the influence of the progressives during his formative years:
Psychologizing introduced an emotionalism to education that defocused the student from facts, knowledge, and contributing to the prosperity of society. Teachers gradually split into factions, with ruinous consequences for American society. Some teachers continued to embrace the knowledge goal, but many of them began to indoctrinate their captive young sponges in critical thinking a euphemism for rabidly questioning everything and adopting a mindset that rejects all that has gone before. Traditional American values and free-market capitalism have become primary targets of critical thinking.
In other words, Obamas constant spewing of platitudinous palaver is a symptom of his Progressivism.

Islamo-Fascist Automatons borne from carefully controlled education, instruction and tampering HAVE no ‘mental’ health. They only have what they were ‘given’.
Don’t forget to miss his Super Bowl speech....
Aaaacckkkk.
I still can’t get over his dragooning of the Super Bowl. I’m not even a football fan but I respect the all Americanism of the tradition.
That isn't critical thinking - critical thinking is a good thing. This description is of a bastardization of critical thinking.
Exactly!!
OBOWzo is a veritable Mulligan Stew of psychological pathologies. Even a shrink as bright at Charles Krauthammer has trouble finding enough words to adequately describe what’s going on in the guy’s head.
My take is that he is a rare form of idiot savant whose “gift” is an urge to engage in mindless and continual eloqution and public oratory. His egocentrism and narcissism — probably resulting from having been abandoned first by his father then his mother — found in ALL politicians has reached a far higher level in him than in others and requires him to be on and the center of attention at all times.
(Even MSNBC leftist talker Ed Shultz, fresh from a visit to the White House, reported that Obama has turned the place into a shrine to surprise OBAMA, with portraits of his first year and hopefully, his LAST full year in office EVERYWHERE! Can you say egomaniac?)
Couple that with the problem described by microbiologist P.B. Medawar that
( ) the spread of secondary and latterly tertiary education has created a large population of people, often with well-developed literary and scholarly tastes, who have been educated far beyond their capacity to undertake analytical thought
and you have a formula for the creature known as Obama.
He is as lacking in the ability to think critically as are the voters who put him in office and who now bear full responsibility for the possibly irreparable damage now being done to this country by Obama and his minions.
The bigger problem as pointed out by another Freeper is that when the veneration by his former devotees fades and, like Hitler in his Berlin bunker, he begins to feel that they are not intelligent enough to appreciate his brilliance, he could become an even more dangerous and destructive creature than he is now.
Don’t worry. America has seen enough of his ass. Now he’s just pissing people off. Obama is a joke.
The institutions put in place will not adhere to “craziness” by this nut. His admonishment of the Court is a clear sign that he is unstable and every member knows it.
“The bigger problem as pointed out by another Freeper is that when the veneration by his former devotees fades and, like Hitler in his Berlin bunker, he begins to feel that they are not intelligent enough to appreciate his brilliance, he could become an even more dangerous and destructive creature than he is now.”
Yes. It’s going to get ugly. Imagine the Executive Orders & pardons he’ll issue on his way out. President Palin will have quite a mess to clean up.
But it can be hard to figure out what Obama really believes and what's just cant or pablum that gets repeated over and over again -- whether a phrase like "fundamental change" is really to be taken seriously, or whether it's just a phrase the president likes the sound of.
All the psychological crap coming Sigmund Freund another fruit cake. All go to the the standard I learned about in the Bible Let’s look at Proverbs.
A righteous man is cautious in friendship, but the way of the wicked leads them astray Pr 12:26
An unfriendly man pursues selfish ends, he defies all sound judgement Pr 18:1
A fool finds no pleasure in understanding but delights in airing his own opinions. Pr 18:2
A many of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother Pr. 18:24
A wicked man puts up a bold front, but an upright man gives thought to his ways. Pr 21:29
As a dog returns to its vomit, so a foll repeats his folly Pr 26:11
Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him Pr 26:12
A malicious man disguises himself with his lips, but in his heart he harbors deceit Pr 26:24
As water reflects a face, so a man’s heart reflects the man. Pr 27:19
Does not this sound like Obama?
At the risk of being bounced off here I can hold back no longer. as I watch our beautiful country being destroyed by this son of a bitch:WE HAVE A SECOND AMENDMENT FOR A REASON AND IT AIN”T ABOUT DUCK_HUNTIN”. OK, I’m calm. Sorry for the shouting. I can’t take anymore of what is happening to America and I damn sure can’t take anymore of Obama. Moderator, I plead for mercy. I’m a man on the edge here. Everyday I fight back either tears or rage over what this Kenyan is doing to our great nation.
Good article by Joy Tiz. Thanks for posting.
They have removed rational thinking built upon the constructs of reason and logic, guarded by definitions and bound by the evidence of your senses.
The anti-concept “critical thinking” employed by “progressives” (look how they have stolen the concept “progressive”) permeates throughout government indoctrination centers (schools). Critial thinking can mean anything they want it to mean. Thinking “critically” about what?
Well, how about this title, “Critical Thinking as Rooted in the Social Principle”...or this classic paragraph from it...
“In class we begin to connect this work to broader cultural concerns, for example, that in our tumultuous era the very hope of enjoying a reasonably satisfying and successful life together on this planet may require much more critical thinking and critical commonsense being exercised by many more people. As we “look together” at the facts regarding such pressing ecological concerns as global warming, among others, the challenge is for students to begin to see that critical commonsense is involved in being responsible citizens. In this way we may hope to create together the conditions bringing about positive change in our communities and, perhaps, in society more generally. This can only occur as more fully developed critical thinking is exercised wherever it seem important for any one of us to do so, for example, whenever an individual is called upon to responsibly do her part in support of a group project in a class at LaGuardia or, beyond the borders of academic life, in a community of which she is a member.”

John,
Your outrage and frustration are shared by untold MILLIONS of your fellow Americans, I among them.
Having said that, we STILL have PEACEFUL means by which to correct the MASSIVE ERROR made in November of 2008. They are the elections of 2010 — when we clean out his handmaidens now infesting Capitol Hill and election 2012 — when we get rid of him. If 2010 goes as I expect, we may be rid of him via impeachment before 2012.
Our task is to be as certain as we can that the replacements ARE AMERICAN ADULTS who understand and RESPECT the history, traditions and CONSTITUTION under which a free people govern themselves. If we fail in that, we have simply traded one idiot tyrant for another. It’s HARD WORK and it is not an every 2 or 4 year EVENT: IT IS AN ONGOING AND CONTINUOUS PROCESS! As a wise man once declared, the price of freedom is ETERNAL VIGILANCE! ETERNAL!! The enemies of freedom DO NOT SLEEP. NEITHER MUST WE! We must all spread the freedom message and inform those around us —even the most ignorant — that the alternative to freedom is slavery.
Given the level of ignorance and apathy still out there, the prospect of a revolutionary fix is frightening. Trust me when I say that it would end very badly and any chance to restore it, once gone, is very remote. We need to cure that ignorance with education our people are NOT getting in the government schools.
The wise men who wrote the Declaration said it best when they observed that “...mankind are more more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.” It is true that they also advised that at some point it is our right and duty to throw off a corrupt, tyrannical government.
As corrupt and insufferable as this government has become, it is not yet ripe to be thrown off in revolution.
Let me give you my subjective and personal tests for when we have reached that point: When that government attempts to effectively disarm us while it interfers with and manipulates or abrogates our election process to prevent any meaningful challenge to the group in power.
THAT is when the real trouble will start.
We can STILL get this done peacefully but we’d all better be about it immediately.
John, please remain calm until we see what happens in November. Given the massive insanity now pervading Washington, I suspect we will see a leftist/liberal bloodbath at the polls. Let’s all stay busy and make sure that that is PRECISELY what happens.
*********
Please DO NOT misunderstand my reasons for producing these two videos. If folks want to gather together to let them know that we, like Howard Beal in Network are mad as hell and not going to take it any more , its STILL for the time being anyway a relatively free country so we can do that.
All Im saying here is that, especially in tough economic times, there are more EFFICIENT and EFFECTIVE ways to expend our FINITE RESOURCES.
Its not as much fun as sweating on the Mall but there IS a better and less costly — way to scare hell out of them — and you won’t even have to leave home.

Belated WELCOME ABOARD! Many feel the same way. The sycophants/enablers/’rats propping up this lightweight socialist con-man are every bit as dastardly.
Well-stated, Dick. BTTT!
Thanks. And, John-Irish, as I’ve said here before, Obama and his minions are pushing hard in hopes the forces of freedom will push back VIOLENTLY. It’s just what they want. If it does get violent, Obama would have his excuse to finish off the Constitution, move to disarm us and declare martial law. And while large numbers of those who supported him a year ago have figured that he is not what he was advertised to be, enough of the — how to say this delicately? — less informed, somewhat denser supporters will continue their support, making the ensuing conflict resemble the War Between the States X 10.
No sane American wants that but if it does come, THEY will have to start it. Our hands must remain clean.
Stay cool until November — unless Obama gets frisky BEFORE the coming electoral bloodbath.
BTTT!
Dick, thank you very much for taking the time and patience to respond to my, well.. post with a very erudite, well thought and well written reply. I would have replied sooner but I went to bed early last night and left early for work this morning. It was humbling and I agree with much of what you said and how you feel, I do and I thought your videos were very good, very informative. “Larry’’ could be everyman really. And here comes the ‘’but’’. First of all I wouldn’t want to ever see the American people fighting and killing each other—again.I’m not nor would ever advocate one class or group be pitted against each of in bloodshed. That’s not entirely what I meant. It isn’t the American people who are the problem but to cut straight to it, this current government and to an extent the previous one has clearly and I would say almost irrevocably LOST TOUCH and CONCERN for the will of We The People. Yes of course as you point out about politics being local and the beauty of the voters being able to ‘’punch the ticket’’’ of our representitives every 2 years but clearly this situation has become increasingly intolerable and while yes I understand Mr. Jefferson’s observation to the effect that mankind will often ‘’suffer’’ whatever present he has rather then risk the unknown, this isn’t nor should it ever be an observation set in stone. I suppose my frustrations preceeded my reason but you’re right, lets see what sucesses we garner in 2010 but I’d suggest keeping the power dry. The framers left us the right, the obligation and the means to affect change, even drastic change if need be in order that we might find that place ‘’As to them will seem most likely to affect their Safety and Happiness.’’ Thank you again for your response.
Thank you very much PGalt. In all my 54 years in this land we love have I ever seen such things as we are seeing now. This is NOT the America I know or grew up in. I’m angry, I’m troubled by it, deeply troubled and my patience is wearing thin. Heck, my 89 year-old mother-in-law who was a young wife and mother at the height of the Great Depression and who is the widow of a combat-wounded, decorated Marine Corps veteran of WW2 has said she’s never been so scared or seen things so bad. Brother, that has me VERY worried. We’re better people and a greater nation than to deserve this punk of a president, much better. He has to go.
