John,
Your outrage and frustration are shared by untold MILLIONS of your fellow Americans, I among them.

Having said that, we STILL have PEACEFUL means by which to correct the MASSIVE ERROR made in November of 2008. They are the elections of 2010 — when we clean out his handmaidens now infesting Capitol Hill and election 2012 — when we get rid of him. If 2010 goes as I expect, we may be rid of him via impeachment before 2012.

Our task is to be as certain as we can that the replacements ARE AMERICAN ADULTS who understand and RESPECT the history, traditions and CONSTITUTION under which a free people govern themselves. If we fail in that, we have simply traded one idiot tyrant for another. It’s HARD WORK and it is not an every 2 or 4 year EVENT: IT IS AN ONGOING AND CONTINUOUS PROCESS! As a wise man once declared, the price of freedom is ETERNAL VIGILANCE! ETERNAL!! The enemies of freedom DO NOT SLEEP. NEITHER MUST WE! We must all spread the freedom message and inform those around us —even the most ignorant — that the alternative to freedom is slavery.

Given the level of ignorance and apathy still out there, the prospect of a revolutionary fix is frightening. Trust me when I say that it would end very badly and any chance to restore it, once gone, is very remote. We need to cure that ignorance with education our people are NOT getting in the government schools.

The wise men who wrote the Declaration said it best when they observed that “...mankind are more more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.” It is true that they also advised that at some point it is our right and duty to throw off a corrupt, tyrannical government.

As corrupt and insufferable as this government has become, it is not yet ripe to be thrown off in revolution.

Let me give you my subjective and personal tests for when we have reached that point: When that government attempts to effectively disarm us while it interfers with and manipulates or abrogates our election process to prevent any meaningful challenge to the group in power.

THAT is when the real trouble will start.

We can STILL get this done peacefully but we’d all better be about it immediately.

John, please remain calm until we see what happens in November. Given the massive insanity now pervading Washington, I suspect we will see a leftist/liberal bloodbath at the polls. Let’s all stay busy and make sure that that is PRECISELY what happens.

*********

Please DO NOT misunderstand my reasons for producing these two videos. If folks want to gather together to let “them” know that “we,” like Howard Beal in “Network” are “…mad as hell and not going to take it any more…,” it’s STILL – for the time being anyway – a relatively free country so we can do that.

All I’m saying here is that, especially in tough economic times, there are more EFFICIENT and EFFECTIVE ways to expend our FINITE RESOURCES.

It’s not as much fun as sweating on the Mall but there IS a better – and less costly — way to scare hell out of “them” — and you won’t even have to leave home.

Dick, thank you very much for taking the time and patience to respond to my, well.. post with a very erudite, well thought and well written reply. I would have replied sooner but I went to bed early last night and left early for work this morning. It was humbling and I agree with much of what you said and how you feel, I do and I thought your videos were very good, very informative. “Larry’’ could be everyman really. And here comes the ‘’but’’. First of all I wouldn’t want to ever see the American people fighting and killing each other—again.I’m not nor would ever advocate one class or group be pitted against each of in bloodshed. That’s not entirely what I meant. It isn’t the American people who are the problem but to cut straight to it, this current government and to an extent the previous one has clearly and I would say almost irrevocably LOST TOUCH and CONCERN for the will of We The People. Yes of course as you point out about politics being local and the beauty of the voters being able to ‘’punch the ticket’’’ of our representitives every 2 years but clearly this situation has become increasingly intolerable and while yes I understand Mr. Jefferson’s observation to the effect that mankind will often ‘’suffer’’ whatever present he has rather then risk the unknown, this isn’t nor should it ever be an observation set in stone. I suppose my frustrations preceeded my reason but you’re right, lets see what sucesses we garner in 2010 but I’d suggest keeping the power dry. The framers left us the right, the obligation and the means to affect change, even drastic change if need be in order that we might find that place ‘’As to them will seem most likely to affect their Safety and Happiness.’’ Thank you again for your response.
