He is still paying off legal debt that he accumulated preparing for a possible federal investigation in connection with the Abramoff scandal.

I’m happy a republican took the “kennedy” seat but I recognize Brown for what he is. It won’t be long before others see it too.

While I'm no McCain fan the "Keating Five" issue has been address many time by McCain and the AZ voters have look over it in the past. While involved, he was included in the reprimand because the Democrats wanted a Republican in the group. I believe he was largely passed by the official investigation.
