Here is video of Bill O'Reilly tonight talking with quirky Democrat Rep. Dennis Kucinich about "America's move to the Right." O'Reilly asked Kucinich how he felt about the events of this week - the election of Scott Brown and the demise of liberal radio "Air America," as well as the awful ratings of CNN and MSNBC compared to Fox News.
Kucinich said he does not read the events of this week as meaning the country has moved to the Right. Of course, for Kucinich, Obama has not be far Left enough! So he seems oblivious to the message of the Massachusetts election.
Kucinich raised the issue of the "Fairness Doctrine," saying that if the Left Wing media declines it will lead to calls for a return to the "Fairness Doctrine."
When O'Reilly kept talking about how Fox News was killing the other cable networks, Kucinich warned O'Reilly by saying, "Be careful, Bill, about crowing about your success right now, because people are going to start calling for the "Fairness Doctrine" to come back because they don't feel their views are adequately represented." . . . . All this threatening to renew the Fairness Doctrine is going to blow back on the Democrats one day. Suppose the FCC decided to get out of the TV standard business and let the TV manufacturers build tuners set to any frequencies they liked? Or better yet, suppose they removed all the anti-trust obstacles to a merger between the television and the computer? Where would the Democrats be without their FCC privileged pals in the broadcast media?
Well the idiot thinks that views held by people who should be in straight jackets should be represented. Obviously there aren’t enough people who agree with him to sustain a ham radio broadcast much less a network.
Let me be just the latest to say...Kookcinich is a nutjob, a left wing nut with no handle on the reality in which the rest of us live. He has worn his tinfoil hat far too tight for far too long. The sad result is no redeeming value whatsoever.
I’m embarrassed to be a citizen of OH when he is on the news.
No real liberal would ever say such a thing . Kucinich is a statist fraud , a carping contrarian at best .
Who the hell does this wimpy little jackass think he is? Public servents should never threaten an American citizen.
BOR must be experiencing a dry spell if he had to have that dumb ass on his show.
It's a bird, it's a plane. Nope. It's the Supreme Court here to shoot down another muzzle to Conservative Free Speech.
FOX isn't handing out money or forcing people to watch them. That's fairness, baby.
The SCOTUS free speech decision yesterday sunk any chance of imposing the Fairness Doctrine.
This was a direct threat missed by the host.
To be fair, he never said he personally support the fairness doctrine. He admitted that Fox was fair, otherwise he would not be on the show.
The dems are the ones who have screwed their own media organs by making them into propaganda machines which cannot survive in the market place.
Only the dems keep tilting the playiing fioeld in their favor. Because they cheat in this way, they always have t o threaten the cheat. EFF THEM.
WE TELL IT LIKE IT IS. EFF KUCHINABITCH!
MSNBC is much more partisan than Fox News. By far.
I think in 10 years there will be millions of TV’s that get their programming online.
This kind of talk by democrats is causing all sorts of Americans (many former Obama and democrat voters) to jump the democrat ship and to despise everything democrats are doing to America and Americans.
These arrogant self-serving jackyls are bullying us when they have already been put on notice unemployment lines are non-discriminatory for scummy politicians with no respect for their constituents and all American's who expect better of them.
Dennis, shorty, STFU.
Dennis, you’re a Herb Villachez mini-me.
If life were "fair" Dennis wouldn't have a wife like this...
LOL! That’s great!
Dontcha love this people chilling free speech. And that’s before the effort to end free speech.
