Meridith Viera seemed a bit annoyed that she was interviewing the newly elected Republican Scott Brown instead of Democrat Martha Coakley now that Massachusetts voters made their choice in the Tuesday special election for the open Senate seat there.
Viera did her level best to phrase the results of the election in an agenda driven way but Scott Brown wasn't taking the bait. In fact, he proved exactly why he was elected over the bumbling Coakley. He refused to accept Viera's lefty narrative and restated the day's events with his own, positive message.
Viera started out trying to get Brown to admit that the only reason he won is because Martha Coakley made so many mistakes in her campaign. This was an effort to make less of Brown's win by saying that the voters didn't really vote for him at all. Viera asked, " do you think that your victory was a result of missteps by your opponent or did you tap into something that the Democrats didn't get about the voters?"
Brown wisely didn't accept the premise that he only won because Coakley was such a poor candidate. Brown immediately replied to Viera's cheapening of his own campaign efforts by saying, "Well, I don't really think about what she did, I just focus on what I did "

She looks great
for a dried up old hag
Viera’s not smart enough to come up with that line of questioning on her own. Just another pretty-face meat puppet.
Incidentally, Scott Brown may be the only redeeming thing that Tufts University has ever produced - as Tufts graduate Meredith Viera proves.
I turned Olbermann on briefly to hear his take and was reminded of the chimp at the zoo throwing feces in all directions.
Most likely you’d take something away with you, too....ain’t no tellin’ where this ho been.
While Brown's bona fides as a reliable conservative still need to be proven, he has demonstrated remarkable skill when dealing with a hostile media. And, his debate performances were all very good - especially his handling of David Rodham Gergon. I suspect that even if he doesn't prove to be a completely orthodox conservative, his political future will still be bright.
That’s nothing that a good iron couldn’t fix.
I am really glad you were wr..wr...wr..., er, not exactly right.
Yeah, but how many times would you have to hit her in the face to take care of those crevasses?
I was impressed with Scott Brown. He handled her very well.
Meridith Viera is a loony leftist. Can’t stand her stupid two cent liberal bent!
Meredith Viera is not even CLOSE to being as wacked out about this as Olbermann and Matthews are.True, but at least they are obvious parodies of themselves. Viera pretends at legitimate "journalism" and is afforded that reputation.
Yeah, I want some of that makeup!
