Is it raining and snowing in Massachusetts tonight or are the Democrats crying over Scott Browns Senate seat upset over Martha Coakley? No matter. Rain, snow or shine, Brown's victory is sweet. That this Republican strongman came from behind to take Teddy Kennedys seat from under the Democratic hopeful is historic. Brown stated during last week's Massachusetts Senatorial debate, "With all due respect, it's not the Kennedy seat and it's not the Democrats' seat, it's the people's seat" (January 11, 2010). Many have called it Teds Seat for years now - since the 1970s but tonight, Scott Brown and Massachusetts voters have helped the people take it back.
Browns victory also signals President Barack Hussein Obamas decline and road to defeat. Despite the nasty turn in campaigning by Coakley this past week, Obamas stumping in Massachusetts on Sunday, the meanstream media's all out Brown attack and The Boston Globes posting a map showing Coakley the winner 10 hours before polls closed today (Jim Hoft, January 19, 2010, gatewaypundit.com), Brown still won.
Many strategists have speculated that health care was the deciding factor in getting people out to vote in today's election. Brown has said that once seated, he'll vote against health care.
Its fitting and ironic that Brown's victory in Massachusetts comes exactly at the end of President Obamas first year in office. The President wraps his first year the same way he began: cocky and rather diffident. The difference? Few are buying the swagger these days. We the People don't want the far left agenda that Obama is pushing on America, and he recognizes that. As a result, there is a slight difference between January 2009 Obama and January 2010 Obama: an air of annoyance that he evinces in his too many public appearances, whether he knows it or not.
OK doesnt take away a thing from Scott Browns resounding victory tonight, but we believe the voters also came out in droves on this soggy day to send a message to Obama and every D.C. stooge who supports his thuggish anti-American ways.
By electing Scott Brown, conservatives shout a resounding NO! to Obamas: · Health care reform bill · Aggressive move to reduce our military by 25% · Ongoing downscaling of Americas nuclear weapons defense · Weak paper tiger threats for Iran to downscale its nuclear fuel production · Virtual non-support of Israel · Push for the green movement, EPA regulations, global warming · Failed stimulus plans · Government expansion · High unemployment And what of coddling terrorists who have toppled Twin Towers and railed against America? Scott Brown sends a clear message on the subject in his concession speech: Our tax dollars should pay for weapons to stop them, and not lawyers to defend them (Greta, FOX News, January 19, 2010). Its a message that runs counter to every message weve heard on the subject from Barack Hussein Obama.
This is probably the first time OK quotes Juan Williams, but moments ago on HANNITY, he said of Scott Brown and his resounding defeat of Martha Coakley: Hes a symbol of something much larger. Williams is 100% right.
Conservatism is on the rise. The American people are tired of extortionist policies. We will not be intimidated or symbolically horsewhipped into capitulation. The citizens who voted for Scott Brown in Massachusetts did so for more than themselves. The eyes of every conscientious American were on Massachusetts tonight and the message was as stark as Paul Reveres lantern.
Enough is enough. We refuse to be ignored. Contra socialist bullies like Barack Obama, CONSERVATISM IS ON THE RISE!
Scott Browns vote kills the Senates supermajority. Its filibuster is history for now. Conservatives across America have Massachusettss voters to thank for this great glimmer of hope after a year of depressing news.
Obama is preparing his State of the Union address, to be delivered in the coming days. WE DONT NEED IT. The State of the Union is clear and it can be summed up in two words: DISAPPOINTED and DISGRUNTLED.
Of the Scott Brown trump, Karl Rove says, Ive never seen an election like this (Greta, FOX News, January 19, 2010). Neither have we. Perhaps not since the original Boston Tea Party have Americans cried out as loudly, Were mad as hell and not going to take it anymore as they did tonight.
With Scott Browns victory, Barack Hussein Obamas presidency can be synthesized as, SO FAR, SO BAD. As Scott Brown stated in his victory speech, Our Constitution and laws exist to protect THIS nation. Everyone sees the emperor for what he is now: a naked socialist charlatan. Lets hope that also translates to a one-term president.
I just saw our new “Ronald Reagan”. Wow, Scott Brown is just great. Thank you Mass.
This was about Obamacare. Brown said he would be the 41st vote against it. Will the lib politicians pay attention to us NOW?
Did anybody hear Congresswoman Michele Bachmann on Mark Levin’s show tonight? I love her. She NEVER gave up on stopping Obamacare, and led one of the antiObama/Pelosicare rallies in Wash., D.C.. She will be on Hannity’s tv show after midnight.
Even The Los Angeles Times had two (count em two [2]) articles about Obama today that used the word arrogant when referring to him.
Let’s go Truckin’!!!

Brown Turned it Around!!!!
I like “we can do better”. He said that a few times in his speech. He is right. We sure can! And he is just the beginning.
‘We will not be intimidated or symbolically horsewhipped into capitulation’
America does not fall on our watch. Not our watch.
What a sense of humor too with his family. He’s a regular, nice guy. You can see it and feel it.
He’s Scott Brown from Wrentham???, MA and he drives a truck!
Great Post!!
