You Gotta See This Video Of Way They Ice Fish In Russia
Interesting, Weird, and Educational Videos ^

Posted on 01/14/2010 3:16:15 PM PST by OneVike

Many of us have either ice fished or at least seen pictures or videos of ice fishing. However, you really need to check out this video of a few guys ice fishing in Russia. While watching this video, I ask that you think about these three questions. First question is, when was the last time you saw this many fish caught by a few guys while ice fishing. The second question would be, if this was filmed in America, how many laws do you think they would be in violation of. Finally I want you to ask yourself, when did us Americans end up being less free then the Russians?

Follow this Link to see the video of Russians Ice Fishing .

Just to set the record straight, I do not recommend we all start fishing like these guys are doing, but it does wonder about the many laws we have in this (America) so called free society of ours. In California alone, the laws we have to protect the so-called existence of fish far outweigh the laws in place to protect the existence of humans.

It also makes you wonder if and when PETA will get a hold of the full version of this video and use it for their wacko purposes. God I hope not though, because it's those idiots who control the Dept of California Fish and Game.

I gave a warning just in case there are any undercover PETA liberals who may try to accuse me of being cruel to fish.

Sven and Ollie went ice fishing. After an hour Sven came over to Ollie and said, "what is your secret?"

Ollie said "Secret"?

Sven said, " Yah Shure, you cast and pull in a pile of fish and I have nuttin'"

Ollie looked at Sven and said, Sven you gotta cut a hole in the ice!"

You Betcha! Uffdah may!

I suspect that these are “Christmas fish”. From eastern Europe well into Russia, the big Christmas dinner is fish. The fish are raised in small ponds and fed a very rich diet—some are even milk fed.

Then, just before Christmas, the “harvest” comes in, with the best fish commanding big money. The smaller fish are probably served in restaurants in seasonal fish dishes.

How do you feed a fish milk ? Just pour it in the pond ?

You have to use a baby bottle. Sippy cups leak too much.

You’ve never been on a salmon fishing trip? The deck hand hits the fish with a small wooden club to kill them prior to gutting.

This video is no big deal.

Do you cradle them in your arms ? Or can they use the sippy cup by themselves ?

They are not fishing they are catching. But the reality is, its a fish farm and they are harvesting the pike. Note all the fish are the same size, and as far as I can remember I never saw a school of pike. They don’t travel in schools.

This is a fish trap, it is legal for Indians to fish this way and they still do in the US.

It is a fish trap on a river, it isn’t a pond.

You must cradle them, and rock them gently. Don’t forget to burp them.

I was trying to figger out what the BIG DEAL was about the video myself? Only those that never HAVE experienced ice fishing or any type of fishing are aghast. Oh ... that is right .. they saw some guy in a 30,000 dollar Ranger Bass boat, with 20,00 dollars worth of gear on TV.

Hell ,,, guess that hamburger we buy at kroger comes cell wrapped in pretty little packages. Never did figure how I can by 8 chicken breasts. Good thing these dimwits don't know that hotdogs and brats don't come nicely sealed in vac pack packages.

Hey even broccoli is rinsed somewhere down the line, and in case some don't know it .. it is grown in dirt (oops soil to be exact)

What is the difference between Broccoli and Boogers?

Ya kant make a kid eat broccoli
