Didn’t the Obama Adminstration put the big squeeze on Rasmussen last week? Curious.

Totally skewed question!

Are the economic problems due to a recession that began under Bush?

Lots of people that blame Obama for screwing up will answer yes to that question. The recession began under Bush, but that doesn’t mean it was his fault.

It was the fault of the Democrat congress, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Schumer and the law passed under the Democrats that banks had to invest in poor communities.

Unfortunately most Americans are pretty ignorant due to the fact that they get most of their news from MSM outlets. That is slowly changing though and I hope conservatives win big in November.

Bush should've said no to that stupid TARP

You socialist are a piece of work. The Democrat Congress took Bush’s 3 page $300 billion bailout and added 1,000 pages and $500 billion, including earmarks.

However, don't let that stop you from blaming Bush. The Democrats now own the budget, the taxes, the war, the unemployment, and the lack of economic growth.

Americans are waiting for the Democrats to change it back to the way it was when President Bush managed it. That would mean lower unemployment, lower taxes, lower deficits, less terrorist attacks, and higher economic growth. If Obama and his Marxist elements can’t accomplish that, we already know they will blame President Bush, or Fox News, or Glenn Beck, or Sarah Palin, and never accept the responsibility.

Don't call me a socialist. Bush could've vetoed the bill. I'm not blaming Bush. I'm blaming the Democrat Party. Maybe you should get to know who I am before posting stupid comments like that.

You can call me a piece of crap, a sorry no good piece of trash, and you can call me far worse things, but don't call me a socialist, punk!

Nothing new here, so I'm not surprised at all. The Republicans have never offered alternative to that argument. It has two components: 1) the crisis is caused by greedy Wall Street capitalists, 2) Bush Administration, driven by their free-market ideology, didn't do anything to prevent the crisis. I have not seen anybody (including Sarah Palin) offered a different story out there.

Many Republicans, conservatives, etc., simply suggest that as time goes by, the blame will shift to 0bama if things don't get better. That, IMO, is not a satisfactory response.

I've posted that info many, MANY times. No one cares, they would rather blame President Bush. Even Glenn Beck mentioned it last week and said I don't know if that is true but...

Why not do a little research Glenn or don't say anything at all.

Bush should've said no to that stupid TARP. That would've went a long way in keeping the blame off of him.

Brilliant! Then when 100 US banks collapsed, thereby collapsing the entire US economy followed by the collapse of the world economy, would that have then been his fault?

if you keep screaming a lie loud enough and long enough, people will buy it. Just ask Al Gore for example.

Exactly. Have you seen this?

I'm still in shock! ;-D

A lot of it is. The GOP has yet to renouince his policies that promoted housing ownership by minorities, even when they lacked proper mean of repayment. Of course this was also an ACORN plan which Obama and the left supported even when RINOs backed away.

They never needed the TARP to begin with. It's naive to believe otherwise.

Good point.

TARP is a loan project of which nearly all is being paid back timely per the agreement. One can argue the merits of such loan projects but it's no pell mell giveaway.

What is more troubling was the AIG bailout, GMC and Chrysler, GSCO bailout and the Stimulus pork giveaways which dwarf TARP.

Huge direct government throwaways of cash...particularly in the stimulus bill which was just one big Democratic party orgasm of throwing our cash at all their community activists groups and pet social change projects.

What the sheeple don`t get is that the Rats are responsible for this debacle thru their CRA and ACORN`s stalking campaign of bank executives, however, the group I wholly blame for the lack of ANY attempt to INFORM THE PUBLIC are the spinelessly brain-dead,scruple-less, liberal wannabe Republicrats!

IF,they had used this as a "teaching moment" they could have informed the public, S#*T, John Mc"worthless"Cain, could have used the pulpit of the run for POTUS,hell,if he`s too friggin cowardly, he could have sent out the far better half of the ticket,Sarah Palin,to counter this leftist lie! She`s got more balls than 3/4ers of that animated pile of dog crap calling itself the Republican Party. So you Republicrat Koolaiders can kiss my @ss on this one, your precious party is it`s own,and America`s, worst enemy in this respect!

And thats just for starters on WHY WE CONSERVATIVES don`t trust YOUR party, they`d screw up a one car funeral!
