Yes, but here is the bad news for the Democrats. That number goes down every month. Within 90 days Obama is going to own this economy in the mind of the majority.

Where was the poll in 2002 if 9-11 was Clinton’s or Bush’ fault?

To be honest it doesn't matter. There is enough dissatisfaction with 0bama to sink him in 2012.

The American public is, to a large extent, ignorant.

The Clinton administration and the Repubs in Congress gave us the Gramm Leach Bliley Act as well as the Commodities Modernization Act. Combined with CRA we had a nightmare waiting to happen. Bush did make an issue about Freddie and Fannie but no where near enough to do something about it. Congress was also willing to sign off on leverage limits that in the end resulted in the blow ups of Bear Stearns and Lehman among others.

This is really hard to believe but I know Rasumussen is generally reliable.

Still, it’s a stunner.

It would appear that the DemocRATS’ “Dumbing down of America” thing in our public “schools” really worked out well for the DemocRATS.

Watch, this will still be front and center during this years congressional elections, too.

The dems have been in charge since 2006. However, Bush should never have pushed the stimulus bill in 2008. My accounts all went south before the election. Was it planned? Will we ever know? No answer required.

And if it was, it certainly wasn’t worded that way. :-)

This is sickening. Perhaps a couple more million out of work and made financially devastated is what’s needed.

Ya. All this started in the 90s. I worked for the dealer finance market of BofA, at the time. We had to train lenders how to make bad loans that would have been considered a firing offense just a few months before.

I could see the writing on the wall then. That’s why I didn’t buy a house: I knew the market would climb but I wasn’t sharp enough to know when it would crash.

The video has been “removed” from YouTube, but can be found here—see link at end....

“The Capital Markets Subcommittee Chair, Rep. Paul Kanjorski of Pennsylvania, tells C-Span how the world economy almost collapsed in a matter of hours.

At 2 minutes, 20 seconds into this C-Span video clip, Kanjorski reports on a “tremendous draw-down of money market accounts in the United States, to the tune of $550 billion dollars.” According to Kanjorski, this electronic transfer occured over the period of an hour or two.”

Bush’s fault? yea......sure....

I agree, but in our minds, the Democrat Party is far more responsible for the economy than Bush. Bush should've said no to that stupid TARP. That would've went a long way in keeping the blame off of him.
